Actually, you are right. It's not the speed of the bike, but the rather the sharp acceleration and heavy braking that require these kind of damping. However, i still feel that none of us can sooo good that we need this kind of suspension do we? :)

How much was your rebuilt? You're using WP is it?

its is actually not the sharp acceleration and heavy braking in order to feel the effect . . . patrick's (insaint) bike is equip with welber (high/low speed) I do felt the differents with my WP . . . even when normal riding u can already feel that its more stable . . . though my shock is setup properly to my weight, personally I do feel there is still limitations to wat an old design shock can do . . .

I rebuilt the WP for $280 . . . until now no issue . . . still riding happily . . .

Is it that hard to cut and paste the items from the webby to here?

Could you get Vik to do it for you? Since you two are like super intimate love-birds... I'm sure you can 'pay' him certain oral favours...

You can pay in cash at the DIY. But if you insist on giving me the orders verbally, I must warn you, I have a very poor memory. I wont be liable for any mistakes or omissions. To save yourself the trouble, just add to the list here. I will only follow the list in the thread, so that if there is an error in the order, we will know who is responsible. Either I placed the wrong order (I will refund you full cash or you can choose to wait for next shipment), or you gave me the wrong part number/description (I will forfeit your payment, you must still pay for shipping and you get to keep the part you ordered, even if you don't need it).

I thought I didn't need to remind you all but I feel that I must:

I AM NOT DOING THIS FOR PROFIT. I AM DOING THIS AS A FAVOUR TO YOU. If you want to piggyback your orders, make things easier for me, things will be done smoothly. If you make things difficult for me, your money is no good to me. I'd rather take on less additional orders.

Thank you.

So you actually put your name down and requested me to purchase something for you without a deposit, when you didn't even have the day available?

I don't care what your excuse is, what I want to know is:

HOW AND WHEN WILL YOU BE PAYING FOR THE $35 WHICH I HAVE SPENT BUYING YOU TOOLS AND SOLVENTS?

Oh wait, I guess I have hitlerstalin taking your place so it's ok.

Ok, its a set of:

- spark plug remover

- hex key set

- flat-head + phillips screwdriver

- cleaning solvent

- WD-40 or an equivalent type solvent

- made in Germany chamois cloth

Pls note that these are the bare necessities. There are other tools that you may discover necessary to carry and will probably get in future, but for now, this is the minimum you shld have.

It looks like something my RS125 ate for breakfast and excreted out of its arse exhaust.

I'll bet my last dollar its handling sucks and if it weren't as ugly as sin, I might consider setting it on fire instead of running it over with a tank until flatter than garang-gunied aluminum drink cans.

I don't care if it does 140km/h. I'd rather rub broken glass and acid into my eyes than let my gaze fall upon such ugliness again.

It if were the last bike on earth, I'd hang myself with my shoelaces, after I've slashed my wrists and swallowed a few gallons of pesticides, rat poison, and whiskey.

This wacky dude fitted our engine to his Lambretta 1963 scooter.

87mph is 140km/h.Very very creative! will eat my bike for sure! :thumb:

Wow that is very cool. I know some ppl in europe have offical race of these kind of motors and it really need big balls to ride on these machines. It don't have very strong frame, not very good brake and also different weight distribution. Ugly or not, it is some prople's serious race machine and also showing the passion and determination. I think it deserves some respect from us since it got an Aprilia heart inside:thumb:.

It if were the last bike on earth, I'd hang myself with my shoelaces, after I've slashed my wrists and swallowed a few gallons of pesticides, rat poison, and whiskey.

yeah its ugly but give credits to the guy.considering what he has done to a nearly 50 year old scooter, its admiring.

Looks like after the absence of some ex aprilia riders, some people are getting all cocky and bossy again.

I brought you my bullets; you brought me your love.
