Wow! What did you get?

 

Sounds like fun! Should fix them up yourself. Don't leave it to the amateur mechanics in M*h to f*ck everything up for you. Worse thing is, you're not even allowed to oversee or supervise the operations. Just have to wait outside while the bike butchers bang your bike up behind locked doors.

ar, my bike is only a mth old.. still learning hahaha. i wish i could do it myself too. hmm, bought 34mm dellorto carb, vforce 3, pipercross air filter, bitubo rear shock etc..

DIY Session 30.09

 

I will be doing a few things to my bike:

 

- sawing away license plate holder

- installing a new removable license plate holder

- installing new signal indicators

- rejetting Keihin PWK 35mm Air Striker

- installing Hella Supertones

- clean out RAVE solenoid

- Autosol bike frame

- wash and polish bike

Anyway, get Ah Seng to fix it.

 

I agree with Lawrence, the dumb bums at M*H dont even let you see what they do to your bike.

 

But putting all this just one month after getting the bike, i doubt you even get to appreciate the bike before enhancing it..

If you're doing it at night, I dont mind coming down to help with the autosol-ing part :p

 

Gotta do mine too. Engine bay damn friggin dirty after the eventful Saturday.

I've got some stuff to do too - cables, wires, electrical ... :angel:

 

>> Top-up coolant and re-route overflow hose

>> Re-route and crimp ERP IU cable

>> Install 2nd battery and wiring for cigarette lighter socket

>> Change signal relay to a digital one

>> Make provisions for ECU current stabiliser (it works !!!)

All these stuff you can do it yrself. If not, the best you first get a few quote from the workshop first. I did some of my stuff at HKL(the one with dyno machine), I can stay with the bike, discuss with the Mech along when fixing up the bike and learn during the process too. You can get a quote from HKL & FM, then decise which is better.
