premix premix.. can see u guys "dancing" on your bike at petrol station.. LOL!

and actually uh.. i think premix save ur 2T also.. provided u really2 know how to mix it.

i always tell myself "got abit 2T wont jammed" LOL!!.. and i pour abit only.. so far so good..

u pour too much, ur bike can come my place already, "here got alot of mosquito".

Only the fools dance. :D

4 simple steps -

1. Turn fuel tap to 'off'

2. Pour 2T into petrol tank

3. Pump petrol to desired amount

4. Turn on fuel tap

The pressure at which petrol enters the tank is high enough to agitate the 2T inside the tank to mix it with the petrol. It churns it very well, sometimes I even see slight foam, which is a good sign.

Premix-Only 2T is more viscous and needs to be mixed with petrol inside a mixing container and shaken till it foams. I use Injector 2T which is less viscous and mixes well and quickly with the slightest agitation.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Your RS is the new 06 version and above? That's even better. It has a vacuum operated fuel tap. You don't even need to turn it off. It is switched off once engine ceases operation.

But I guess old habits die hard lah. If you like to shake, you will always shake. hahhaahahaha...

Fadil,

I only want to help those serious about going premix. If you are, join in the fun.

If you want the throttle cable elbow, let me know asap too. I'm ordering again for myself. £7.90 each

Anyway, if anyone wants to fit these sexy coolant hoses (£78.13), I can do the installation for you. :D

Patrick, these will look totally awesome on your bike!

I will be installing mine during the next DIY... woot!

I've the parts ready to go and am very keen to give premix a try. My younger bro on his KRR has been premixing for a couple of years already. Its easy to remind myself to pour in the 2T into the tank too. As for the elbow, what do you reccomend?

3600 or 10854?

At the moment I need to replace a few things too. Battery is slowly dying, I need a top block service and replace a few items in the clutch area like the balancing gears.

Angle will depend on how much clearance you have above your carb. I need a 10845 for my bike and Joy's bike too.

I'm looking forward to trying my bike against the premix bikes sometime. When my grandfather bike is ready that is.

Hi guys,

need some advice. I took the bike for a spin tonight and rev it hard. When I inspect the bike after I parked it, I found some oil spatter on the side wall of the rear tyre(both side) and undertail( on the right side only)

Could it be that my brake line leaking or just some oil from the chain.

Luster,

Any specific dirt bike shops that i can get the premix bottle..? Last time i only saw people bring cough syrup bottle. Only to realize the amount wasn't enough. :faint:

I have 240ml bottle for sale. Enough for one full tank.

RIDE TO THE LIMIT OF YR BIKE!

too much gear oil.. it will go away from time to time. it came out from the tube located @ ur chain cover.

lawrence or tknage can explain further. ride safe.

Either that or its splatter from your chain wax when you spray too much. Before my tyre change a couple of months back, I had this same problem. I change my gear oil and wax my chain myself after the tyre swap. Now there's no traces of oil on my rear tyre.. Basically I've changed the oil out screw and washer to make sure its tight, no gear oil leaking from there.

Front sprocket cover, you better clean it up as it can get very dirty, clogs up everything there. Once clean, check the cover again over time to see what's the gunk that's building up there. Smell the oil/dirt mixture if you have to. Gear oil got this distinct smell which you can never miss. Then you will know if its really gear oil or just your excessive amounts of chain lube/wax..

if its the cause of ur chainlube. then ur chainlube is NO GOOD! =x

chainlube is damn sticky..

if gear oil. dun pour 600ml. or sometimes u or mech will "accidentally" put more.

550ml good enough already. :D

k its time to sleep... sleep.. sleep!! nitez everyone!
