hi there, I don't think the circuit is for competition only... if I not wrong there was once a clinic open for Class 2b bikes at tuas circuit by a guy named Raptor...

 

anyways I never been there before so I can't say about the pricing but here is the website, probably you can try calling up and ask... However if my memory did not fail me, the usage of the track was around $35 as that was the price stated for the clinic session and highlighted it was to be used to pay for the track usage.

Did you take out the plug after normal riding or you do a plug choke? If it is after normal riding, it is dangerous if you push harder and a bit long in time. You may want to lift up your needle jet position one step and check again. You can only do it step by step, don't just change everything. It will cause you no base line to work on.

 

Normal riding. Like I said in that quote, I forgot to change plugs when I installed the 34mm.. The plug in the picture is the 1 that went to sepang and back + 1 day's worth of 34mm carb..

 

I'll check on the new plug i've placed inside later tonight. Bth see my b1tch being too dirty. Oil stains, fingerprint marks all over the tank and insides. This is gonna take me a long time to clean tonight

Thing is with the Aprilia is that all the other 2b fairing bikes wanna test you, your patience and your bike's ability..

 

There was once I was cruising towards the woodlands checkpoint on lane 1 going at about 115km. Went past this fat mofo on his krr which looked like garfield, with his orange paintwork and black spots here and there. The idiot thought that I was gonna play with him.. (As most of you guys know, I'm always sporting my full face, jacket and gloves. ) This imbecil dropped 2 gears, WOT and overtook me right before the bridge. Raised his left hand and waving it around like he just won some 4d or what.

 

I didnt even bother looking at him when we got near the customs but he kept grinning and looking at me while twitching around to get my attention.

Cant you just get the bike, read up on different sections of this forum then ask this again? I'm getting abit annoyed with your endless amounts of questions when you dont even have the bike yet. I've told u 1 or 2 pages before. Get brand new or get a lower priced bike, overhaul the damn thing and be happy with it. 9k STOCK is utter nonsense. dave got a 7k bike with EVERYTHING that is needed to be done on the bike, ALREADY DONE. You tell these buggers to reconsider their pricing for their "RACE READY" STOCK bikes.

 

I think the annoyance is especially due to the fact that you're posting 1 question after another within an hour. Consolidate your questions and post them at 1 go. It's easier to handle that way.

dear sorrie4u, sad to say and tell u. im freaking pissed too. not to u, but why are u considering that 9k bike. that is a joke.

 

a restricted RS125 during the era of 06-09, is the one with 14rpm. the cdi is a piaggio CDI which looks different from all the other models of all makes.

 

with this as a start, u will notice, a full power rs125, u look at the metal chasis where u can see ur chasis number, there is a power rating. all full powered bikes (12rpm) is rated at 21kw. a restricted one is at 15kw or 18kw if im not wrong.

 

now back to the bike. RACE READY. what a joke. yes, rs125 is a track bike, u do can go to track with a stock bike. but to sell at 9 k for a 08 bike manufactured in 07 ( high chance its a restricted one) is like oooo! crazy and nuts. and if u did buy, i dunno what to say.

 

next time if u see my bike, den u know whats race ready.

 

sorry for my harsh comments. but i do hope u dun buy the bike. no matter how good condition u see, but its definately not worth it. 9k plus other stuffs, will be around 10 k to 11k. u get a new bike at 12-13 nowdays. BRAND NEW. if u really have the cash, just down 8k or 7k, rest instalments, use the rest of the 2k to mod the bike to RACE READY. or invest in a good suit, good gloves, good boots.

 

ANd, its a 09 bike. FULL POWERED. if u happen to see 09 bike with 14rpm. its obvious. a bloody bike shop has been scamming all newbies around. pls i would suggest, u come and meet all of us, or bring us to view the bikes, anyone of us will be happy to show u hands on what are the differences. with regards to viewing, we can easily down price for u.

 

that bike, in my eyes is worth only 7k. but if the guy wanna sell headlights, fairings, and other parts separately, i would be glad to take over from him to keep in my friend viknesh house as spares for my RACE READY bike. ;P

I not sure how you differentiate a powervalve, I would ask my mechanic next time when I bring my bike in =)

 

But if you get a restricted one and wanna unrestrict it.. besides adding performance parts to it , I think you have to do something to the CDI... 071000-XXXX-XXXXX if your CDI serial number starts like so, you will have to open the CDI and cut the bridge to kill of the retard ignition that will occur on 6k rpm which is needed to pass the EU emission test...

 

I not sure if I am right about this but maybe the bros here can help me confirm it....

uncle, i race cars in game, i TRY to race bike in real life. I dont go around shooting ppl, blowing things up.. Actually I do la.. Wasnt that well known playing other shooter games, but gaming as a whole was sparked off by a good friend of mine, who happens to be in singaporebikesforum as well. He's riding an R1 now. I most likely will follow him in the weapon of choice. See how it goes in 2yrs time..
