I'm telling u for the 4612763187638721th time. Ride to KL and back by tomorrow. All you need is to bring 2 bottles of 2T, a chain and lock to secure the bike when you sleep.

I stopped and pumped petrol 4 times in total for 1 way. Juz take as 40litre X RM2.5 = 100 RM of petrol 1 way, u change 100 sgd more then enough to cover your petrol. Toll, there's only G.Patah to worry about. Makan is up to u to spend how much.

It took me 200RM worth of petrol, 8 bottles of gatorade, 2 Lunch and 1 Dinner.. Even my pack of smokes which I bought on the trip up, never gets finished by the time I got back.. :)

Yes Mr Lawrence. I slammed my back on the parapet wall on the flyover from tamp towards p.i.e corner while foolishly attempting to scrape my knee after watching a MotoGP race back in 2001. Since then my back always gimme probs. :(

I feel your pain, brother. I have a back injury too.

I recommend the sports physiotherapists at the sports council. They are headed by Gino, and they follow the Singapore team all over (like the recent Asian Games etc) to ensure their athletes are properly looked after.

Gino set up a separate business outside. I don't take commission but I always recommend him over the rest of those kuching kurak "professional masseuse"/ "authentic" Javanese/ Thai massage because they are properly trained.

Many of my friends and myself included have had our bad backs fixed from there.

It's not cheap, but good things never come cheap.

I can pass u the contact.

hi all,

which bike shop sells RS125? I know Mah Motor is the distributor but now i am still looking around. Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, Piaggio is now the distributor for Aprilia...

By the way, the former distributor for Aprilia is Mah Pte Ltd, at Serangoon Rd. Mah Motor is just a small motordiam not affiliated to Mah Pte Ltd.

bro. enough of the 154 thing. once i go pg for a few sessions, lets have a go.

125 vs 125.

ur experience, vs my talent. thats it. we place a bet on the line. ( loser wash the bike ) HAHAHAHA.

I'd rather put $1,000. More exciting... :D

I can buy new fairings...

lols . . . suddenly so many posting . . . even the old timers r back . . . :cheeky:

I usually don't post so much but when I see the old gurus like Spidey and xxes123 get into a technical debate I cannot resist poking my nose in.... hahaha

Is the one selling on the forums the same as on http://www.pjme.co.uk/acatalog/Brake_Parts_.html?

The one I'm selling is Galfer.

The one sold on PJME is Braking.

Braking and Galfer are comparable, but Braking is more expensive due to a more rigorous marketing campaign. (ie. Braking is more well-known than Galfer).

Last I checked,

A Braking wavey disc rotor costs about $380 if you import from PJME.

A Galfer one costs about $280 in SG.

Regardless the cost, you'll still get to enjoy the benefits of a wavey disc.

I think so... however pjme did'nt state gaifer but his is gaifer however if you are interested to get, you should just get it rather than order from PJ... you save abit of $ since its used and save shipping from PJ which is quite expensive if you order alone.....

IMO, I think its not bad since you never try before the wavey brake disc and you may not know if you like it or not...

Wavey discs are claimed to have better braking performance in the wet and under race conditions - Wet because the grooves shunt water and muck out better than just holes drilled sparsely throughout the stock disc; racing because the wave shape increases surface area and aids in heat dissipation.

I do feel the difference with my type of riding but for the average street rider, the aesthetics is largely the factor.

With an upgrade like this, you've got nothing to lose. Unlike larger cylinders which promise better low end torque by sacrificing high end power. :cheeky:

Good to have a bit of challenge like faster riders who steal your lines, or slower riders who threaten to run into you. A good rider is able to overcome such obstacles.

Chung I will give you a few handicaps:

1. My front fork is blown and leaking, so my front end has no feel. It understeers, and bottoms out at Turns 5 & 10.

2. Front brake rotor is covered with fork oil and hence has little stopping power.

3. Rear shock is blown so my rear end has no feel too.

4. Lastly, my tires are old crappy Metzeler M3's; my rear tire loses traction in the middle of corners, and my front tire loses traction out of corners, making my bike fishtail out of most turns.

I think the abovementioned handicaps might provide you with some advantage, but don't keep your hopes up. :)

ps: I usually refrain from testosterone-driven d1ck measuring, but hard to resist playing up this one. Maybe we can charge people to come watch our friendly match?

2004 models max speed is up to 217km/h.

1996-1998 models can hit up to 229km/h, with the right settings and a tail wind.

But KRR, SP, and TZM can all hit 261km/h because they have a 150cc engine.

Are these GPS speed or DYNO speed or just speedo meter speed?

Analog speedo meter can be very very inaccurate. i.e. My crappy Yamaha 125Z hit 140km/hr on the meter just equal 105km/hr on my GPS.

While those 50+whp, below 80kg weight WGP125 bike top speed around 240+km/hr, i am highly doubt these 150cc non-Race design, road production bike have any chance to reach that speed under "normal" modification - maybe directly throw out from an airbus in the sky can brake 400km/hr LOL. Not mention 3 different design bike have identical top speed? It's not convince me unless they have same Max power rev, primary and final reducetion ratio, top gear ratio, type masurement and same air dragging force under that speed.

Seriously, if can find any 125~150 2T road production bike easy makan over 200km/hr i should throw my RS250 away cos it got useless 60whp but can only hit 225km/hr on the Dyno and jialat pulling above 175km/hr on the road - i should know it's stupid idea to put jap crappy engine into italian frame before i got this bike:cheeky:

Paiseh, my sarcasm was lost on you. I am just fed up with people asking for the top speed of RS125.

True top speed is 175km/h (based on GPS), but is about 200km/h on my analogue speedometer. I matched a KRR blow for blow (gear for gear), my analogue speedometer showed 180km/h.

He claimed he hit 220km/h.

Hey guys. just curious. 04'Apriliars125 top speed can reach up to??? Originally can it hit up to 190km/h easily??

Yes Chung, please run in well.

A proper run-in requires running through all the gears through all the revs, not just pushing at a constant rev on one gear. Putting a varying load on the engine through different revs and speed is better.

Heh heh.... I've been telling him that for months. What makes you think you can convince him?

Poor Daniel! Kena stomach flu... Remember my bike SEIZED FROM A DISCONNECTED 2T HOSE?

Izwan had to push me 200km to KL. I rode Michel's 250 on Sepang.

Secret is out people, I have seized before, but not from poor carb settings - it was due to a mechanical failure.

*hypnotic chanting with the Sith Lord hands* premix... premix... PREMIX... PREMIX...

Eh, that was in April 2006. Old photo doesn't mean old age! tsk tsk... We are still young....

Yeah, the politics was crazier than a mud-slinging contest that thankfully most of us managed to stay out of.
