My aprilia using Keihin Carb 41mm. Is that a good mod?

Carb size = boob size

Engine mod = hand size

28mm = A cup

30mm = B cup

34mm = C cup

Anything bigger, which will be more than a handful, is a waste. Unless your hand size (engine mod) is large enough to grab onto a D, DD etc boob without spillage outside of your grip.

Waste not.

wow 41mm carb... I think like what lawrance says its probably bottlenecked by the other mods....

Anyone got a nice paint work theme to recon ? Might be changing paintwork... Prefer simple 2-3 colours...

I was telling the guy that some of the guys got sliders from motivation and he should ask motivation that will the sliders do damage to the frame if the bike will to fall or something.... I think I mention that last time I wanted to install sliders but end up they wanted to drill my frame thats why till today I am without frame sliders....

If you are looking correctly at my perspective, I am trying to advise him to double check before installing something that will eventually damage his frame

:lol:

Motovation sliders dun need to drill frame. They just add a bracket from the engine mounting . Slider are meant to protect against low side skid and never meant to protect againt direct high side impact .

but if kena such direct high side impact , most prob with or w/o sliders , the bike be in a condition to scrap. :pity:

Eg The type of damages done in 2 different situation

1)bike sliding on its side after falling and coming to a stop

2)bike slide and hit kerb/barrier

Or even most suay suay situation , bike fall/flip and sliders hit the kerb/barrier directly at an awkward angle, this type of situation then slider will be have bad effect on frame. But under this type of accident , the damage done by the sliders would be the least concern.

Just dun connect the sliders directly to main frame can already.

If I am a char kway teow seller, will I tell my customers that my oily char kway teow increases risk of heart disease?

Just food for thought. :cheeky:

haha don't make me hungry.... oh well anyways to rider : I never install the sliders in the end because I don't have the extra money to experiment new toys lol but I think if you really afraid get race fairing... they cost 9xx+ if I am not wrong and your stock fairing can keep at home... easier to sell your bike in the future as well...

those tat no need to drill frame only applicable on RS125 '06 and above . . . those riding RS125 '05 and below need to drill to fit the fairing sliders . . .

ohh thats not bad for the 06 models n above..... my friend say motivation actually provides free upgrade of brackets whenever other users fell and the bracket design did'nt work... this I feel its a very good after-sale service provided... however I just don't have the extra moolah to throw in there considering I still have quite alot of accessoriess to be brought instead... Just my 2cents ! Cosmetic wise it looks not bad honesltly haha

why is it bad for the 06 and above since they no need to drill??? o_O

to sum all this up, im having the motovation sliders. so far, i have not dropped and fallen with the bike or skidded or anything. have changed the bracket and sliders 3 times free of charge by motovation. because 3 riders have fallen and dropped the bike. all did not do any damage to the bike but motovation still feels its not strong enough and keep doing adjustments like that david described.

we will all know whether the sliders are eventually good or not untill someone crash big time and damage the frame. BUT WHEN? we all dunno. i agree with what edwin said. big time crash with or without the sliders, will damage the frame.

to end it all, pardon me for saying : im good enough not to crash or become one those examples u guys said that after skidding or crash will damage the frame. coz it wun happen to a talented rider like me. :p :P :p :P

lets hope i crash though. pardon my arrogance. i would love to prove u guys that the myth is right.

and perhaps in the past, ppl really crash with the sliders and damage the frame. but are they using motovation sliders? so just wait till i crash yeah? arigato!

oops (emo post again guys. sorry. pardon me. who can jammed 4th piston in 6months)

lol. brandon. i see. 8 pistons in 5 months. thats real fierce. yup still a p plate in singapore but i started riding kup chais in malaysia since 11 years old. now im 24.

so is 13 years of experience enough? (oops, my talent actually comes from experience.) ;P

and why are u comparing talented to experienced. u may be an experienced rider, but are u talented enough to be fast enough on track? for eg. amba started racing at about 24. it took him 3-4 years to become one of the top riders in singapore. well, other ppl has been riding like mad, practicing like ****, yet cant even beat him.

anyway, pls surface urself during meetups. how i know u are donkey years ahead of me when i dun even know how u look like. i guess only sep has seen ur face. LOL.

Yup, it's possible....Ride like an "Old Uncle" on a RXK doing below 60km/h :angel:

Lol! kiddin bro....

U should always use "Fully synthetic 2T" & have yr bike well tuned to prevent a lean mixture...

BUT most importantly, u should keep yr bike "Stock"....

Aftermarket Parts = More Power = More Wear & Tear = More Problems :angel:

yep yep..... Aftermarket parts are like racing stuff and racing parts don't last... for instance big bore kit from Polini does'nt have warranty... why? cause they know their product won't last long :angel:

wahaha Zack... go try my secret formula ! spidey's got the ingredient already....

any1 can answer me for this??:angel:

can... some items order from Uk website mainly because local shops don't really carry parts for our bike and mostly the items from the uk websites are cheaper.

the items are of course brand new items, however they do sell re-condition cylinder blocks where its cheaper to buy a brand new piece.

The only thing is the shipping cost because they only count you a standard shipping charge regardless how heavy your order is, thats why from time to time you see people ordering things and inviting others to join him/her to share shipping cost.

Payment mode: Credit card

Hope this clear your doubts :)
