Now the bike now batt alr.. hais

Try to increase ur idling using the idle screw. Get ur bike to ahseng to get the tuning sorted out. I honestly think ahseng is the best person for aprilia bikes. As for the battery,it is flat as ur bike is using more battery than it is recharging itself. Thus, the low/flat battery.

Anyway,What's the voltage upon starting your bike?

Rs250? Cool to be doing ur own overhaul.

Sorry for the super late reply long rarely log in, yup overhauling the RS250 engine soon. Manage to start back my 2003 RS125 after some time found sitting in the shop for 3 years, don't know why the shop just leave it under the bike cover, hate to see good bike sleeping.

2004-2006- KR150ZX *Stolen*

2006-2007- Honda CBX200S

2007-2013- Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i UG3 and Honda CBR400RR-R (Both scrapped)

2013-current - Piaggio X10 350, 1996 Honda RVF400RT, 2003 Aprilia RS125 and 2003 Aprilia RS250 GP1.

I think the latest model is 12.

Important advise for you, don't rush when getting a bike. Look slowly, what yours will be yours.

Thanks haoKR and Taurian.. Something puzzles me.. Why does most people who had aprilia RS125 wants to sell after around 2 years?? Is it hard to maintain the bike??

At 2 yr mark , most would have gotten their 2A/2, hence the upgrade.

Furthermore, assuming u get a brand new bike, 2yr mark will roughly be the time to do either a piston change (($400) or a complete overhaul($1000+), plus various steering cone bearing plus wheel bearing($200) , side stand sensor might have died by then, speedo sensor($100+) should also be dying soon. Add in tyres ($300+), T-joint($200-300+) which is almost impossible to find in local market and most aprilia guys dont even know got this part :sian:, rear suspension will also be dying ($1000+-).

So overall cheaper easier to just get another bike :pity:
