I don't see anything wrong with posting up bad deals.  Eyz intention was to let us know that it is a bad deal. Perhaps the way he did it was a bit extreme, his intentions were good. Even if he didnt tell us, someone else would eventually say so.

Selling price is ultimately up to the seller. The price of a used product is always related to the market price. If u bought something at a price higher than market price, of course u would not be so stupid to sell it at a price far away from it. But u must be prepared to accept criticisms and comments for such a price tag.

And obviously, this is not a place to hang ur bras n panties. This is a place to communicate. This is a club, where people should look out for each other and try to help as much as they can. If u get a bad deal, and a fellow friend who knows about it keeps quiet, then this kind of friend should go to hell.[/b]

Totally agree with you.:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

To me, a forum is for likeminded people to meet together and look out for one another. Thats why we are sometimes called a community. In a community, everyone looks out for one another. If some of you out there thinks that what is being posted here is flaming...well...check out those wedding forums...That is the real world. Ppl in SBF are already too nice.

So nobody is interested in riding up to Sepang with me? Currently only one other RS250 rider is up for it.

I'm opening this up to RS125 and RS250 riders, or anyone else who doesn't mind stopping at every petrol station on the way, due to the brilliant fuel consumption of the 250s.

I'll get a REALLY nice bike like that when I believe I'm a good enough rider to really deserve such a machine.

U don't have to be a superhero to ride a superbike. :D

wahahaha

I disagree wit Eyz..

Any Aprilian with the balls and proper gear should be able to do what Spiderman does! But I concede, i have neither, balls that big or the proper equipment!

Personally I think an experienced rider like Spidey can handle it, the rest, it depends on your level of confidence and like i said, the size of your balls!!

Muhahaha!

I belive in having average equipment and using it to the maximum of your ability. Don't want to be one of those guys with the latest, nicest, most sh1t hot bike but being overtaken by older machines with better riders. Sure there will always be some guys who will be faster than you on old bikes but so long as I'm not WAY slower then it's ok.

I'd rather pass someone on my RS125 on the outside on turns 2 and 6 than fly past them down the straights. It gives you way more satisfaction. And who cares what the lap times are and how nice the bike is so long as you're having fun and the RS125 is FUN! Even on my CBR150 I passed some R1's and a ZX10R on those two corners. And even up into turns 7,8 9 & 10 (only to be overtaken again as soon as they hit the straight)

The reason I'm learning to ride dirt is to improve my riding skills. I'm getting more comfortable pulling wheelies and I've even flipped the bike which is something you don't wanna do on a road bike on the road. I'm also getting used to sliding through corners and countersteering while drifting. I belive that all these skills will help me on the track in the future and just make me a better rider in general.

If I ever manage to clock a sub 1:50 at PG on a bike like an old CBR400, RS250, CBR600F4... etc then I will buy myself something like the new R6. Only then will I feel that I deserve such a machine and won't be an embarassment riding it. For now I'm keeping an eye out for the right machine at the right price. I have a feeling it will be a y2k R6, k1 GSXR600 or F4.

Despite having a bike licence for over 10 years I'm very new to idea of riding on the track and I don't feel there is any rush.

so long as it's under my 2:20 on the CBR I'll be happy.

Don't target anything for your first session out. Just aim to come home without any scratches or damage to your bike. (ie don't blow it up like I did the first time I took my RS there).

No prob. Next time can say hi wan. Unless my colleagues not chio enough.:cheeky:

Anyway, the track is only 3.9km at most, so one should be able to cover the whole distance in under 3mins. (assuming averaging speed of 80km/hr)

Ha! Actually, I did not check out your colleague.

Eating at Amara at lunchtime is distracting enough.

I dare not be too optimistic with a timing as all my trips to PG were car related.

My braking points(alot earlier), entry points for the corners are going to be totally different on the RS.

So, I would actually need a couple of slow laps or even trips to PG to brainwash and convert to bike mode or else Im likely to come back in a white van with the flashing disco lights.

I'm sure the RS125 can do it better than the CBR and you With your experience in PG, you shld be able to learn the lines for RS much quicker than me. For me, i only have track experince on 4wheels, but not in malaysia tracks.

Oh yes, another phobia I have is with the safety and condition of PG.

Often, they dont inspect and check that the vehicles are track worthy, I have seen a car's brakes fail due to improper fitting of brake pads and slam into

another at turn 2. Another time, this car blew its differential and dripped oil all the way back to the pits and they didnt do much to clean it up.

Will you be cursing and swearing if you went thru a corner at 9,000rpm and find a oil slick ahead, too late to brake and you just slide out, spoiling your track session, destroying your suit and having to pay and go thru the hassle of getting your bike fixed?

After frequenting Wakefield, Eastern Creek & Paramatta Raceway in NSW, where they have track marshalls in every corner with flags, who will not hesitate to end the session till its cleaned up.

Most of us visit PG for fun, not turn into a victim due to a lack of safety standards.

In a car, at worst, one will just write off the vehicle.

On a bike, a $2,000 suit, $1,000 helmet, $300 gloves, the rider's life? PRICELESS.

(Sorry, I could not help myself & keep sounding so serious :D)

Sure, everyone wants to do under 2mins on a RS, but please remember, safety first.

Are the thrills of a quicker lap worth it?

Think about it.

This actually happened to me at PG Turn 1 after an R6 blew up it's engine and left a long line of oil leading into turn 1. Luckily I was on my CBR150 and the damage wasn't very severe. My boots and leathers no longer look nice n new though.
