depends on whether you want to just buy the filter or filter+installation?

already saw that you found the PMO for K&N filter... do read the Tech Corner post #28 on K&N Air Filter For SW400/600 (DIY guide is also there).

note that the filter is originally made for FSC600 and not for FJS400 but still can be used.

easy way out is to go look for Ah Choong (ACMotor), ask him to order and fix for you.

see Tech Corner post #5 Contacts & Lobangs: Where To Get Those Stuffs?

our long lost friend Kris Rider is popping by tomorrow for the gathering... it's been few years since we last catchup with him

Hi Scooby - Yes Long time no meet or write in the forum - only refer to now & then to find out whats going on. I still got my SW and whenever in Sin Chia Poh always use it to scoot here & there. I m based in KL area mostly and so far the SW best commuter. Other projects in hand but hardly got time to touch - will be down in SGP soon as thinking of buying a used/laid up Honda CX650 Turbo which needs a lot of internal work - but depends on price.

Ok will try drop by at Rail Mall this thursday - when i m down im mostly staying at Bukit Panjang so its not to far - as long as you guys dont laugh at my SW - always dirty & tatty. Have to be this way to avoid attention in KL parking areas.

Hey kakis.. any coolant which is silicate free to recommend me for my coming coolant change?

Should i use back the traditional type which uses 50% mixture of coolant with 50% water?

Any idea what coolant (green colour) is use by honda motorcycle factory or on their silverwing?

:cheer:

Glad to have u in my life : ) Always love one another!

engine ice... many of us using it

read their FAQ... http://www.engineice.com/faq

Is Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant “Silicate Free” and “Phosphate free?”

Yes, Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is both silicate and phosphate free.

Will it harm my gaskets or seals?

No, Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant will not harm your seals and gaskets. Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant meets or exceeds all ASâ„¢ (American Society for Testing and Materials) and SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) Standards and Requirements. These are industry standards in most everything mechanical and engine-based, including motorcycles and cars.

Actually, it will be hard to find coolant that contains silicates nowadays because there aren't any copper radiators now. With all radiators being aluminium, it implies only non-silicate based coolant can be used. Nobody will make a coolant where no customer can use.

Pre-mixed is simpler.

Huh, like this can claim comprehensive insurance? I thought only covers accidents, fire and theft? ie if my car's transmission (big ticket item) develops problem due to wear and tear, I can claim insurance for repairs and replacement?

any1 using givi air flow? how much taller izzit compare to stock? and where to buy and price?

Air flow is from $250 above from Mah.

Height is adjustable and max height is higher than stock.

No problem even for 1.8m rider.
