I did that too, replaced my maxia's original led lights with 3 strips of much brighter 5050 LED strips plus a relay to make it blink when activated.

In case some on the ball inspectors may not pass the blinking lights during annual inspection, I always disable the lights before going

Need urgent help from all the Swing gurus here. Have misplaced my Silverwing key and am in the midst of trying to sell off the bike.

Have a spare key cut, but when turned on bike won't start due to the HISS, where can I go to create another key that will start the bike.

Tried calling everywhere, must have the main key that can start then they can duplicate from there. Looks like must change whole ignition and cdi according to a shop.

 

Should be around $700 anyone can concur with this pricing?

ur bike still under hire purchase from shop right? they should still be holding on with a spare key. perhaps you can duplicate and programme ur key through them.

Sadly I bought second hand so shop also don't have spare key.

did you test both keys when you take over the bike?

anyway, no point talk about what should have been done now.

 

suggestions...

 

(a) call BS and see whether they can help revive your dead spare key instead of changing the whole lot

for all you know, they may have a "honda secret" procedure/method to solve this kind of problem... lost keys is not a new problem

 

(b) get 2nd (multiple) opinions; try contacting Ah Choong (AC Motor) to see if he has any idea/alternative/workaround. he's good with our SW

Thanks bro i went through all avenues stated already. My spare key is just a key no chip. Called ac also and everywhere said have to go agent oredi.

 

Called boonsiew quoted 2k plus. But thank God really Thankful my bike shop found a spare key later gonna go pick it up. They saved me 2k LOL So much relief
