One day before my bike trip and this happen just 2hr ago when Im in JB

The Ram mount / brake reservoir allen key head broke off ...lucky the brake reservoir cover never fly off

No time to go bike shop....think tomolo will try to brute force the remaining screw out.

Rode some minor track /off road in batu pahat ....must be vibrate too much

prob a matter of personal preference, i think the on handlebar or handlebar top cover RAM solutions are safer, cos even if the screws break, doesn't harm the bike's braking ability.

My 1st Choice = On-Handlebar

Shown mounted on left of SW's handlebar so that still can do some "poking" while on the go :p

http://i692.photobucket.com/albums/vv287/josephsbs/Silverwing/RAMside1.jpg

My 2nd Choice = At centre above handlebar top cover, mounted onto bracket for top cover

Shown using RAM's RAM-B-238 (single ball diamond) that requires 2-screw mounting.

Actually, the better solution is to use RAM's B-367 1-Ball solution (see attached).

Thanks for the input scooby:cool:

THink I will go for the first choice too.

I need the ram mount with combo x grip closer to my face so I dun need to look down

and away from the road as with 2nd choice.

Also need it to be on my left side so Mrs Nighthawk can peep into it and sometime help

poke the Gps whilst I keep on riding...we change course all the time

Finally Moving out liao..!

Hi all.. not sure if this is the right place to ask. How much is price of SW 400 now? I was quoted 17.8 machine price by my dealer.. is this reasonable?

Trying sourcing at other shops. Eg loois, de xing, bike prod and more. Might able to get 17 to 18k on the road.

:cheer:

Glad to have u in my life : ) Always love one another!

On the road will included road tax, insurance (is based on age and riding experience), coe (as for now is 1.8k) and iu unit ($155).

All these sum can easily add up to 2.5k

Machine price is purely just the price of the bike excluding these items that are mandatory to register a new bike on Singapore road.

please avoid genting guys. it's crowded and there's nothing to do since the amusement park is closed.

for casino dudes, if you are intending to exchange $1k, theres no need to bring cash to risk getting robbed, their exchange rates are as good as our local exchange rates.
