Hi Fellow Gilera riders. Need technical advice. My bike stalled on me on a few occasion after engine startup. I cannot get it restart right away, only after a few hours the engine can be restarted. This does not happened all the time, only occasionally. I send the bike for servicing and found nothing. Sigh. Does anyone has the same experience before? I reckoned it could be the fuel clogged up or something to do with the fuel line but I am not sure. Please advise.

How's your bike now? Still having the same problem?

 

Anyway there are many possibilities i think to get it rectified. Maybe water sip into the fuel tank, poor working magnet coil etc.. Try getting to a bike shop n get it rectify. =)

My bro got himself a gilera runner. I suka2 tested his bike by revving to 3000rpm on mainstand. It vibrates so violently that the bike moves backward. Is it normal for automatic scoots to vibrate wen revving on mainstand?

Yes it is normal for the bike to vibrates and move from mainstand.

Hi guys, I just got a 2nd hand 08 VXR200, everything is wonderful about it except I see some green liquid whenever I am washing the water pump area. It does not drip though when I park though. Is the water pump due for replacement? I am thinking of doing a full servicing my runner at scooter narcotics, any reviews about them? Thanks all!

You need to check if the coolant is leaking from the cylinder head thermal cover... if that is the case you do not need to replace the water pump... in any case keep a lookout and also remember to top up the coolant to prevent any necessary overheating to your scooter! you are welcome to visit us and also with no obligations to make purchase...let us know how we can help in terms of knowledge to make you understand better. cheers.

The exhaust these days have inbuilt catalyzer which is hard to remove unless you permanently disable it... as far as I have tested... the akrapovic sounds verry soft! just like a stock exhaust.

Gonna own a scoot soon. Yamaha nxc 125. I know this is gilera forum but gilera is the most found scoot on the road.

 

My question is

 

I saw some scoot changing to a nakedbike handlebar. Was wondering, where can i get this done? As i feel currently, its a tight squeeze with the oem handlebar.
