Can't you get it welded at a machinery/engineering shop?

Take your pick... there are thousands... Shouldn't cost you more than $15 either...

You can go to the scrapyard and get one cheap cheap. Better than welding the already rusted mainstand. You might just find a better condition one as well.

Here's one that you may wanna try:

Jalan Buroh Scrapyard

Ah Ann Trading

27 Jalan Buroh S'pore 619483

Contact: 9625 6549 (Hock Ann)

Exactly at the back of jurong bird park, from Aye towards tuas, turn left after which u will reach an overpass. don't go over, instead take the lower road and turn right at the junction. The enterance is just opposite the first bus stop after the right turn. Best to search the post code at street directory webbie

][][ No point waiting.. if you want something, its best to go get it yourself!!! ][][

Anyway to all those skipper bros out there...

Im sorry that i want to abandon my one and contribute to the dying trend of skippers on the road.

This is infact my first bike after i passed my 2B. I got the bike from my army officers' son and really loved it. I ride it to camp and back home with so many people 'looking down' at the humble stead but i dont care... I remember seeing this cauasian Harley rider staring and laughing and i laughed back cos i thought he was the funny one. Recently im getting more stressed over riding and really wanna go back to my MRT days...

Haha why am i even saying all this... Sorry for the long story...

Before i bid farewell to my bike. Just wanna ask, just how many skipper riders reading this are out there right now?

I just got one yesterday :)

94 model and it's super zippy and fun!

Who cares what other people think. Insecure issit?

care factor = ZERO

I'm just to do my little Skippy up soon. I can't wait to pimp it out. ;)

Hey guys! Due to very little response from this new thread. I would like to invite all of you guys to make some noise and check out if there are any events upcoming in our Singapore Tuas circuit. Most importantly this new thread will also serve as a place for all of us to talk about anything that relates to racing, techniques, brakings, taking a corner...etc etc.

The scooter scene is still very small in Tuas unlike the Yamaha cubs. So i would like to promote this new thread for some of you guys here whom always wanted to know more about scooter racing and also where and when to watch. The upcoming race will be on 1st of March and it's open category.

If you are interested, you can post some of your enquiries. Our guys here are very friendly and willingly to reply your post.

Your support will be much appreciated.

Just got a piaggio skipper 125cc. & there's quite few problems.

1. When front brake applied for too long, e front brake will start to vibrate.

2. Must kick quite a few time before e bike can start, electric start spoilt.

3. Signals not working.

4. Pillion says bike vibrate alot when travelling.

Where can i get all this fixed at a low price? Cause this is a transport bike, don't wish to spend too much on it.

Thank you very much.

I think you probably paid a few hundred dollars for this bike....

Not trying to be nasty(I sincerely dun) but what do you expect?? A smooth ride with no vibration for 125 cc? Electric / Kick start 1st attempt every morning. The bike shd be 10 years or more now. I owned one FM plate before and sold it in this forum making it clear to the buyer the electric start is not working either

Signal lights not working you shd have checked before accepting the bike but I guess the price had been factored in this defect. So you need to go to the bike shop and get it repaired, nothing to ask here...
