im getting my x1r this coming friday. Its a first hand bike, so how long did you guys run in to season the engine ?

hi again X1R'ers ,

 

1st bike wobble wobble chk tire pres on your tire wall n follow te pres.......still cant solve prob try chk bearings.

 

2nd if wan chg cdi also must chg cltch spring to rcing spring thn chg carb jetting thn chg gpr pipe thn go 4 full tuning..........aft all tis go fly your bike...still not happy wif bike mod......thn chg to hayabusa thn u can fly higher.

 

3rd over size brk rotor if to bling bling ur bike dont chg ,cos an accd is just ard te corner.

chg a better one if u must to shorten brking dist......but always apply even pres on frt & rr brks.n for brk lines thin thin 1s r for better resp n feel of brk .

 

4th always get used to your bike 1st B4 doing all or any mod.....

 

try not to spend so much hard earn $$ on 2b bike cos u will wan 2 get class 2A n 2 rit.

unless ur dad is BILL GATES thn by all means.....cheers!! just my 2cents or 3 or 4....etc.

try to run ur bike ard 80km to 90km for 500km + - 50km thn chg eo n oil filter..thn try trottle more lets say ard 90km to 100km....

lol i understand, i jus wan some "way" to fix it which doesn't require some special tools...

regular adhesive surely don't work as the cover "stretch" surely untidy.

Hi guys, just got my X-!Rlike 1month ago,Needto know what front nrear brake pads to use? Brand n location n price. I know probably it was mentioned in the forum many many times, but i just dont have the time to search, even now I suring net via my hp from work.

Front Brake pad maybe can try using Daytona de... S$28.00 at kallang avenue name Future Scootering, theres a guy whom do kups, my bike is serviced n doned up by him.

what are the consequences that we didn't change spark plug after long run?

now im using 80/90 front n 90/80 rear..feel its much better when it comes to cornering than the stock tire size..

 

i top up coolant after 1 year..did a full servicing which includes the radiator flush..

erm for the spark plug usually i change with alternate eo change..like dis mth eo next mth eo + spark plug + oil filter..if long run never change i tink will affect the responsiveness..maybe the pro bros can help..hehe..can learn from them..

using iridium spark plug on kup is it necessary? Just ordinary ones will do?

hmmm... 80/90 means 80 is the thickness?

i did some read up they said the front wheel mus be smaller than the rear...

if i use the 80/90 and 90/90 the diameter of the wheels would be the same wor. kind of confusing.

just realised my left headlight bulb is fused..anyone knows how much is the bulb and where to get it? im also intending to change the pole light to red colour ones..does wingyap sell those items? planning to go there to check out the shop
