YUP, front and back... HEL brand

I'm interested but still skeptical at it's braking performance.

Does it improve braking power to a certain degree?

A bigger pad and disc brake will definitely improve braking though.

it definitely increases braking performance but only to a certain extent and it's more lasting.

the oversize disc that many people are using right now does not really improve braking performance. the area used by the brake pads is equivalent to the area used on a stock disc.

notice that the size of the oversize disc is the same as the ones that bigger bikes are using and the whole area is fully utilised.

for better braking performance, change to stock R6/R1 master pump (brembo RCS15 if u have the money) and steel braided brake lines (HEL).

hey sis ,

i havent had great brakin even with steel braided brake lines.

my bike shop says partly its due to my flower disc and my cbr/rvf brake pump/lever .

is it true ?

& my ride is reali rough in the throttle and virbrates alot to mi .

any idea why and what can be done to improve the ride ?

Thanks for your well wishes!

I love the bike, it looks nice, saves petrol.. Zippy.. But the only misgiving is that the stock wheels looks like those on a bicycle!

But this bike should suffice as a very good daily transport!

Besides, buying it before I pass will push me, I hope! Haha

if its stock condition, you are sure to save on petrol.

and no worries abt those rims, you can easily change them

but it wil cost a little.

most importantly just always be careful on your ride :)

Thanks for the advice.

Brembo RCS15 how much? Curious...

Our bike so small with higher braking power wont lock wheel meh? Heh.

Ppl want to feeling braking with two fingers la..

Lolx!

Steel brake hose sud increase the reaction time of the braking effect unlike those rubber hoses..

It's very physics la.. So this sud be suffice for small bikes..

More than dat like way overboard to me arh..

by right, changing steel braided brake lines will only increase braking performance by a little because stock rubber brake lines will have bubbles thus trapping air which will result in the decrease of braking performance.

flower disc is supposed to dissipate heat faster as compared to those normal round ones, therefore lesser area come in contact with the brake pads. not very sure with regards to the cbr/rvf brake pump

probably it's time to bleed ur brakes to see if there is any difference.

what u mean by rough in throttle? not responsive?

vibration for x1-r is quite normal though

Thanks for the advice.

can check out Unique. saw their thread, they selling at $550 inclusive of the brake reservoir

that's why brembo came out with RCS15 which is specifically design for bikes with single disc.

Stock R6/R1 brembo master pump is 16mm which is equivalent to the RCS15 and RCS19 is specifically design for bigger bikes with dual disc

Hi guys, I have a few questions here. Please help me out, thanks!

1. How often to change the chain and sprocket?

2. Is the X Ring Chain necessary? Or just a normal chain will do?

3. Price range for changing of chain (x ring) and sprocket?

4. How often to lube chain?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! Cheers!
