sorry guys..maybe this is noob question but i think your fan around that air filter that part...

it doesn't spin all the time right? (refer to pic: beneath my basket...the fan's around that area right?)

my fan's whirring sound is non-stop once u turn on ignition! :(

The fan is at the radiator area, beneath your basket is where the carb is.

I tink the fan sound from his electric turbo ah.... Whahaha

Could be. Or maybe he install jet propeller.

Jahat kamu berdua.

dude..seriously, with your smartass replies..

you're making a complete fool of yourself.

spark 135 with no air filter????! your spark is purchased from planet Mars or something??!

i just changed to the K&N if u want to know..

you may remove the air filter if u wish but it's there for a reason.

have u any idea what on mother earth u are blabbering about..??!

i DID make a mistake on the part where the fan IS NOT at the air filter..

i've check and it's actually the radiator fan.

So the photos may have misled and caused a misunderstanding.

But on the sound does seem to come from that part of the bike. So i thought the pics would help..

i'm not asking to be spoon-fed for goodness sake..

i'm keen to see if u guys face a similiar circumstance or not?

i wasn't asking for an answer, i was seeking OPINIONS. get it?

I'm not sure other bike their radiator fans keep running all the time or not.

If u'd like to know..there's a sensor that controls the fan..

when too heated, the sensor will activate the fan. so for mine to be running all the time, i suspect a problem.

You are probably the better candidate than me to start using the brain.

well......so much for forum friendliness..

I might have been wrong with the pics but you speak offensively when i have not at all provoked you.

Why did u bother to even reply if u didn't know anything??!

Please dun start a flaming stir..we are all here to share and learn and advise..

But from your reply, you are so quick to pull the trigger at me......

No offence, that is just how duo answers stuff. Get used to it because most of us here already are.

hi guys, sorry to off topic, i m going to get a 2nd hand spark 135 , what kind of things should i look out for? i m noob to spark 135. and btw if any one of u is selling do PM me. thks.

You should look for one that is totally stock, if you have a friend that owns a stock spark, ride it so you'll have the rough idea of how it should feel when you get a chance to try one at a shop. Provided they let you.

Anyway, HELLO SPANKERS ! It's been a long time since i last entered the forum. :cheeky:

Very long bro, too long. How's NS?

finally changed the coolant of my bike. the coolant level is at the low end and i don't know what type of coolant they are using which is red in colour instead of the usual green. to avoid mixing different type of coolant, i choose to flush it.

brought 1 x 500ml of coolant @ $5.80. "Rad Kool" brand. 2 bottles of distilled water at $1. total cost is $6.80. open up the right and front "casing" of the bike and drain out the stock coolant. flush it a few times with tap water until the water is clear. finish off with 2 x distilled water flush.

mix the coolant/distilled water ratio as 1:2. top up the radiator and and reservoirs. fix back everything.

took me quite sometime as this is the first time i DIY my bike. kind of fun :)

Nicely done... Cheers...

Yeah. The coolant that comes with the bike is red. 1:2 ratio is abit thick IMO. Should try 1:4 or something like that. It needs to be watery for it to flow around. Otherwise it could choke the cooling system.

1:4 is about 10/90 ratio? will we be pushing the anti-corrosion properties since the recommended mix is 50/50?

anyway, Ah Pek from this forums mentioned before that this "rad kool" brand is pre-mixed coolant but not concentrated. not too sure about it. if that the case my coolant ratio should be around 16/84.

i used to use redline water wetter but for my computer system :p a 3/97 ratio will do the job for water wetter. it seem to stain the internal of my computer cooling system with a layer of gunk which i assume should be some anti-corrosion film. some believe it will react with the silicon tubing although i don't see much of a problem with motorcycle cooling system.

You made it sound so complicated. 1 part coolant and 3 parts water. But do what you like its your bike.

Is this the same ah pek that claims he has got the best concoction for motorbike EO?

Anyone planning to change bike next year?
Interesting. Seems like they upgraded many stuff but still same capacity. I am only interested in the chainguard/hugger combination. The meter console of the old one still looks better. Even the old coversets are nicer.

300cc spark?
This will not be legal right?

1. bore x stroke : 71 mm x 76 mm (stroke increased from 58,7) using Yamaha Scorpio piston with special made piston boss pin (scorpio's piston pin diameter is 16 mm while stock T135 is 14 mm)

2. Liner taken from a diesel engine, engine block liner hole was enlarged up to 76 mm

3. Increase in stroke was made possible by moving the crank pin and welded by electric torch.

4. Connecting rod was taken from Honda CB100 K5 because the big end diameter is the same as stock T135 crankshaft.

5. The rest is to make a lower cyl adaptor from aluminium with 15 mm thickness to compensate the stroke increase, and 0,5 mm head gasket.

6. Engine valve was taken from Raider 150 with 22 mm inlet valve and 19 mm exhaust valve.

7. Carb using Mikuni TM32, with 45/150 pilot and main jet size.
