Some points / criterias to take note of to add on :

1) We do not require you to be 24 / 7 in CB400 forum , but it is good to at least log in an hour a day and look through the forum

2) Have basic IT Knowledge of using vBulletin board (ie. must be able to familiarize our commands and functions of threads/posts management)

3) No, having a CB400 does not increases yr chance. As long as you have the commitment and flair for managing our CB400 forum , doesnt matter if u r riding a C70 or a valkryie.

4) Will be good if you have referees so that we can refer to them ( we need to be sure who we are getting on board )

Pls do not hesistate to PM us (CB400 mods) with regards to the above points or topics.

To further furnish wat i have posted earlier : -

Role & responsibilities of a Moderator

  • The moderators (short singular form: "mod") are users of the forum which are granted access to the threads and posts of all members for the purpose of moderating discussion (similar to arbitration) and also keeping the forum clean (neutralising spam and spambots etc).

  • Because they have access to all posts and threads in their area of responsibility, it is common for a knowledgeable and trustworthy member to be promoted to moderator for such a task.

  • Moderators also answer users' concerns about the forum, general questions, as well as responding to specific complaints.

  • Stickying of threads; banning, unbanning, warning the members; or adding, editing, removing the polls of threads.

Moderator Rules

Moderator Rules

How to be a good moderator

Moderating a forum gives you power and, along with that power, responsibility. Your aim as a moderator is to use your powers for the benefit of the community. This page describes the things that you have the power to do and the things you should keep in mind as you moderate.

Moderators have the power to:

Delete posts

Delete threads

Move threads to other forums

Edit the description and rules for a forum

Moderators do not have not the power to delete users; this option is availible only to the WEBMASTER. If you feel that a user should be deleted or banned, please send an email to the WEBMASTER and explain why.

As a board moderator, you are expected to:

Check the forum at least an hour a day

Work for an active and pleasant forum

Help new users on the forum to join the community

Move messages that have been posted on the forum that you moderate but should have been posted on a different one

Delete messages that are off-topic, racist, sexist, insulting or contain or link to illegal content. This includes anything that is a violation of copyright law. Note that a discussion about virus development, for example, is fine if it is on-topic on the forum in question since it is simply discussion of something that could be used in an illegal manner but equally could be used by someone building virus detection technology. It is fine to understand how a crime is committed, but it is wrong to plot illegal activity or carry it out on the forum.

Respect the opinions of others when they differ from your own; you should never delete a post because you disagree with its contents

Inform the WEBMASTER if you find any problems or bugs in the forum

Inform the WEBMASTER as soon as possible if you do not want to moderate a forum any more

All actions performed by moderators will be logged to prevent abuse of power. Moderators will loose their status if they are found to be abusing their power.
