Hey sun,

i just collected my Ermax light smoke windscreen yesterday. It cost me $150 in all with installation. I ordered it a month ago from Motoworld and they gave me a call yesterday to go collect it. :cheer:

If you dun mind Ermax, thats the price that i paid. :cheeky:

Cheers

Hi Swift,

Tks for the infor. I went motorworld yest & the malay guy at basement quoted me $180+. Siao ah....from ur previous postings, I see that u bought it at abt 160. Now u're getting only 150.

Skidmarx, being taller than ermax, was only bet 130 - 160+ according to the previous postings.....I really hate it man! Thou can change to taller windshield after buying over the bike then now got to swallow saliva at the shops.

Hi sun,

Well, initially when i went down to order the Ermax screen, they quoted me bet $150 - $180. I put a deposit of $50, and i top it up to $100 for it.

i once wanted to get the Skidmarx screen but bcos like what you said that the take very long to deliver and that turns me off and i switch to Ermax screen.

Well, its up to you. The skidmarx is defintely higher compared to the rest.

Hi Casper,

Check all the exhaust head nuts are they tightened or any nuts become loosen! or you may have some road tar/dirt thrown by the front wheel on your engine..!

If you are not sure bring your bike to your workshop or H L and let them- check it out.

Silverghost..

o_O

Thanks bro. I will. Now got squeeky sounds coming from the swingarm area during ride. Not sure if it has anything to do with the exhaust. Will bring to HL soon to check it out. $$$ again.

Bro Sun - No worries. No Skidmarx can always get Ermax (like Swift). Maybe Biketech saw my posting here and decided not to bring it anymore Skidmarx. Haha..but I'm just stating facts.

Well..true that it has low demand but there may be...sometimes.

From your previous posting, u advise using wd40 to clean the exhaust. The last time I use wd40 is when I clean my s4 chain with it. The next thing I saw was rust. So jus wanna confirm that wd40 will not affect the exhaust.

Hi Sun,

WD 40 is good for cleaning exhaust pipe..why? it base on petroleum distillates- it will remove/dissolves almost all dirts...those hard dirts, need some assisstants.

Using it on chain!!! - it'll strips all the lubrications from the chain- you must understand that, this product is not waterproof it is washable.. after that you must lubricate the inner side of the chain..! if not rust will settle in..

Using WD40 on Exhaust have no effects at all....I use it on those stubborn road tars/stains they wipe off easily..while the exhaust are warm.

If you can buy those 3m stainless steel cleaner(can colour light blue with chrome top) from DIY -cost about $13+ or something.. I've been using it after every wash -it leaves a thin film which protects and makes it shine. Very simple to use shake the can, spray over the cleaned exhaust pipes and at those foot rest/pegs- wait for the foam to settle then -later wipe it off with the toilet roll(tissues)

Hi Swift,

I only can recommend what I have used or using...So I know about that product well- I can't tell about other brands unless recommended by a user -But I always have an open mind.

Buy those with heavy armour padding for trips...across causeway! Local can use those cheap wants with light rubber foam paddings about $140+ Chong Aik.

First If Budget Is No Problem Then -You Have No Problem On Getting Any Riding Jackets... GO FOR HUNTing!!! BRO!!

First you must understand!!.. what you are looking for:- Cordura-Summer jackets can be worn every sunny day!(I've 2 jackets)..full of ventilations(holes) or Cordura waterproof type(water repellent) they are very hot for local use/rides (trips okay; can tahan!) for leather! unless your are a racer..

Have the cash buy 2 jackets 1 cheaper type for local use, the other better quality/heavy padding for trips...(why 2? Can pass 1 to your partner)If needed!

If you buy it use it (my advise don't keep and admire it in your bedroom).

*Cordura is a mixture of heavy duty nylon+ other materials.

I hope this can help you...atleast on your decession making!

Hi Fooz,

Don't worry- Ya!! thats him alright the owner (kevin)..!

1st you must understand that -We 'diversion group riders' are the coolest riders, we don't offend any others so what to worry about..?

They only get scared! when they see us on their rear/side view mirrors-he,he,he,hee...! :cheeky:
