OMD always faster and better than anyone of us

He is the redliner...

To increase the pickup, try the following:

1. remove e silencer of our exhust

2. remove air filter and place a cloth on top of e inlet

3. change or machine a big bore engine w oversize piston

O... lastly remember to install a pair of FJR abs braking system juz in case we couldn't stop in time. :cheeky:

Custom,

Thanks for advice...you forgot one more thing to change...steel braided brake hose for extra braking.

Swift,

FYI, my riding style is very different from the rest of the folks in the Diversion group. Those who have rode with me will know. I am not a show-off or anything like that. In case you don't know, read my signature, it will give you a hint.

Also, for the braided hose, the improvement in your actual braking is slight only. The weakest link is the actual brake system. The Divvy is using a passive system. To really feel the difference, we need a better brake calipers. Sorry, but I hope I didn't offend any of those who have switched to braided hose.

I have made some enquiries for brake calipers, but the pricing is a little steep. Now looking at other alternative solution.

i went to HL this morning, d rear seat cover will burn u for d miserable $450. not worth even to consider it.

Met a TP there, had found out that they received 53 units of new diversion 1 1/2 mths ago. He also mentioned that several of their divvy encountered oil leak from d engine, particularly d gasket area, but he did not emphasise much. However, it may due to their abusive style of riding, cos bike belong to d gov. mah.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the info---Crazy pricing maybe try other places...

Hi OMD,

The only alternative solution for you is to replace the front-end with ~Fazer1 spoke, rim/ tyre and brake calipers..it may cost abit more but you'll be satisfied...with these pieces!

Hi Div buggers, for pple interested in Eagle's windscreen,

After 2 wks of negotiation with Eagle, they have agreed to lower the price of a windscreen to aus$110 plus postage. Initally they quoted aus$140 per piece + aus$36.50 postage.

The thickness of the acrylic is 3mm, custom to your height, comes in Light smoke tint or a dark smoke tins or lots of other vibrant colors like red or blue or yellow. In short, tell them the color & they'll try to make it for u. It'll take them a few days to make it & get it in the post to u. But pls confirm with them in email for the delivery period. If not, it'll just be like skidmarx's case.

Payment is by credit card upon receiving an order from email. If u're interested, write an email to them with the height that u want. U can state my name (Sunny) in the email so that john will know we belong to the same diversion group. Then u should be enjoying the same price stated above. Pls, I don't earn any commision from this. I'm trying to lower the price because I want to order 1 as well. If u think u can further reduce the price, pls go ahead. I'll be more than happy to pay less.

Contact person: John, email: [email protected]

Hi Divvy Buggers,

Pls read the email reply from Eagle below:

What do u understand from the email regarding the price? I was prepared to order the windscreen when they replied to me that the total price will be Aus$110 + Aus$36.50 for postage.

Sorry guys, the price of Aus$110 is not inclusive of postage! I'm not sure if I interpret it correctly. Maybe it's due to my poor English. Now the price is changed. So maybe some of u may reconsider. Sorry once again!:giddy:

OMD/Swift

just some small profit sharing only lah, a very small lounge for wine lovers, we are wine wholesalers, distributor & supplier to hotels, restaurant, clubs, bar, MINDEF, weddings or just simply walk in buy & take away. Also official wine supplier for NDP 04' & 05'. Price range from $5 onwards, guranteed cheaper then any where in Singapore, even in supermarket. u may visit our website for my details. http://www.winebos.com/ PLs recommend your friends, colleague or boss to us, expecting busy next few months cos of 2 new new projests coming up. Sorry guys, i become off topic.

u guys can definitely gather at my lounge here, there is a big empty space to park your bike, but night time is always full, u can sit out door & over-look your bike while at the same time u may appreciate a glass of wine. But i dont serve kopi, teh or soft drinks leh, only wines. Location at 47 North Canal Road, a stretch of old houses opposite Merchant Court Hotel, or opposite speakers corner or d stretch of road approaching Boat Quay. call/sms me at 9171 3571.

I always had 1 or 2 glasses of wine before ride home every night. 1 glass of wine equivalent to 2 glass of beer, thus is still safe to ride home, 80mg alcohol per 100ml of blood, still legal. if u dont drink then dont ride.

OMD

how about consider REMUS muffler or full system, i also very tempting.

Hey SG,

Regarding the fine cracking lines on your previous skidmarx windscreen, has it ever occurred to you that it might be due to the self-cut air gap in the middle causing the plastic molecules to break up?

Just a guess cos I'm not a very scientific and mechanical person.

The actual cost will be Aus$110 + Aus$36.50 = Aus$146.50 (S$186.72). After realising the wrong interpretation, being budget conscious, I've sent in my cancellation to Eagle. For mass ordering, Eagle will not lower further if we increase the quantity. But the postage might be costly. So I'm not sure if mass ordering will

be ok for us in terms of cost. Maybe u can let me have ur skidmarx when u get the Eagle :p

Nevertheless, we can still try to consolidate the order & see what Eagle say again. So far, only Custom, u & me show interest. U might want to measure the height 1st. Anymore?

Initally I placed an order for 280mm taller than stock.

Sun,

Startup a MO and c the respond....

We should have some saving on the postage if we order together.

For example if we order 5-10 pcs, what is the postage price to ship together?

If not then we'll order individually.

Right away Custom! Here goes.....

I'm consolidating to see if there are enough interested parties for Eagle windscreen. If it's promising, then I can nego. with Eagle again. For those who do not know how does that look like, pls refer to the previous thread. It's just a few pages away.

The cost quoted by Eagle is Aus$110 + Aus$36.50. Postage is subjected to change because the parcel will weigh between 1.25kg to 1.75kg, depending on how tall u want your windscreen to be. Postage will also increase by Aus$4.50 per 500grams if more than 1 windscreen is ordered.

thanks swift for the info.

However, I found out that fitting kit for TDM does not exist...

So gettin a new pair for that price plus I have to fabricate fitting kit does not justify the cost.

Nevertheless, I will still check it out when I'm free.
