hi guys,

Is our divvy exhaust pipes stainless steel or chrome? I intend to use high-temp spray and spray the engine and exhaust matt black. If its steel, it will stick, if chrome, this project has to forgo.

 

Saw a honda steed, front to back, fully matt black, dam stylo.

 

It's chrome. U can sand it to remove the chrome layer in order to spray it.

Nobody met my price, so i am keeping it until auction lor. I am sure there will be collectors for this kinda bike, carbs, shafts, timing chain, XJ family heritage, good 'o japanese in-line 4 engine tradition, to me is the makings of a reliable and keep long long collectors item, for sure.

 

Even Honda doesnt make a inline 4 shaft nowadays.

 

Wah piang, how to sand down chrome? Nevermind, i'll work on it somehow.

Try S1 Motoring along Changi Rd. Its silver color FW plate without pannier. Try and ask them. Previously they quote me 7.5 with new paintwork. I think the bike still there!

Welcome to the thread, enjoying the engine of a D9 now i suppose. Well maintained bike to its standards. I think the only D9 with yamaha R1 brake calipers.....safe rides.

Hahaha... not forgetting the everlasting rear break pad coz uncle seldom use it unless on up slope...

To add on, there's an extra tail light on its 2 side panniers i guess? Hahahaha!

Thanks very much for the welcome msgs. I'm sure u all noe about Custom's former "wife" much2 more than me( the r1 calipers, brake lights on the side boxes) since you guys been around for a long time. Btw, it's my first class 2 bike!! Dat's why i've been keeping in touch, buggering our gentleman, Custom. Met Bats before a few months back(if you can remember, bro, @ Pioneer Mall Mcdonalds wif Jums), dats where I somehow got "physchoed" or "inspired", I guess. Almost wanted to get the Fazer6/1.... but it's worth the wait to get this bike.

Yesterday was my saddest day of the year...

I've left my 6yrs old wife in hands of a good handsome gentleman.

Believe she will be more taken care of in his hand.

I had sign off my chapter with her and will be looking for a new wife soon..

Hopefully I can find something like her.

Me too still sad n still thinking about my XJ900S Diversion. After riding the best 'buddy' for 6 years, I felt the missing n what is it I just can explained. Riding the xjr1300Fi is no doubt fun n exciting. Ever since I got the 1300, invitation of riding to Kelantan.Port Dickson,Kuantan etc....:cheers:almost each of every month...... The Holy Month of Ramadan is just around the corner and the ride will pause till after Hari Raya.:thumb:Me too like you, waiting for the 'new' XJ900S. Every month without failed, I will surf the web to c if any news of the new xj900 model.... Hopefully they will come out with....1) XJ950S Diversion mk 2.
