I'll be attempting to update the Team Diversion 'Prime' video message and a couple other videos over this weekend, and update in this forum accordingly..

We'll be using this thread to direct other Diversion riders and other riders who are interested to know more about this bike to join us in our Facebook Group...

Just a general remark.

With HL not selling XJ-9 Diversion anymore and with the current Divvy riders all holding onto to their TP-lookalike Divvy, is it that one has to join the TP in order to ride the "real thing"?

Cos it will be almost near to impossible to get a 2nd-hand TP-lookalike Divvy 9 in the market now liao, since all the Divvy riders will not be willing to part with their "TP" bikes.

I used to put the same colour (as the TP bikes) stickers on my FJR side panniers when I was riding one, but still it doesn't look anything close to the Divvy with its side "TP" panniers with the TP-colour stickers (orange and blue). :-)

Really inspired by the video of the ride at Punggol. :thumb:

Please do not flame me if I said something wrong. :)

No, Sir. Total white. Looks like a real TP-bike from far, until I walked closely to realise the plate is a FV-plate. :)

Did u catch the plate number? Almost all the Team Diversion bikes are FV & "look like TP" already!!! ;p

I saw the plate number, but thot not too good and rude to post it here.

So I did not post it in my previous post.

I cannot remember the number now.

It is really nice.

I nearly want to put a note at the petrol tank cap to tell the owner, "Dear Sir, if you are thinking of letting go of your beautiful "TP" bike, please kindly contact me at 98*88 o**".

As for the Divvy, it's a low maintenance, fuss-free, air-cooled, durable shaft-driven bike, and the fact that the TP uses it is also a bonus for us in the easy availability of spare parts... Most of us are unwilling to part with it as we have yet to find another big bike with this 'budget' tourer category... Imagine, the cost of maintaining this 900cc beast is almost on par with the Honda Super 4!!! Now WHO wanna let go this ride so easily?

But fortunately for u, (u're riding the FJR, right?) the TP may be switching to FJRs in the near future, so ur dream of "looking like the TP" may be achieved!!! Hehehe...

On a side note, most of the Divvy riders are considering of upgrading to FJRs in the future... ;p

Anyways, why don't u add urself to our Team Diversion group page in FB? Our latest updates and discussions are posted there...

But my 600 naked little lamb will look out of place amongst all the "TP" rides. :)

Guess difficult to get hold of a 2nd hand "TP" Divvy now liao (since all will not want to let go of theirs). :)

I used to ride a FJR, but due to family commitments, had to down-grade to a smaller ride.

TP is considering to change to riding FJR to patrol on SG roads?. Bravo!!! Our (taxpayers') money lei!!!

So since almost all Divvy are FV-plated, most are COE bikes with a few years left on its "lifespan"??

FV - it's THIS year... But sorry to burst ur bubble... Most of us have either renewed their COEs, or waiting to renew... Mine's in December, now too early to renew..

Unless somebody wants a one-to-one exchange with a BRAND-NEW, fully-paid FJR.... *whistle*

U won't feel out-of-place... When I first joined Team Diversion, I was riding a 400cc Yamaha XJR... U can watch it on my youtube "Team Diversion members intro"... ;)

Plus, we ride convoy, so we leave no one behind!!

Wanna know more, add urself to our FB page and post the questions there... It's very inconvenient using the iPhone and trying to post in SBF... Forums are smartphones 'un'friendly... The page keeps reloading, zoom in and out voluntarily, lags, and simply irritates me... This also explains y we no longer use this forum...
