well, most cbrs are nearing their live span liao.. if really wanna upgrade, can consider cb400 instead.. less probs.. as u know, old bikes tend to fall "sick" now and then.. probs will start creeping in even though u test ride it at first and find nothing wrong.. hope tis helps.. :)

good :thumb:

then let me tell you that cbr400 IS a problem bike. so is a GSXR400. so is ZXR400. so are all other bikes. there is no bike without a problem, especially used bikes. even if you get a good condition bike there WILL be a problem, it's just waiting to happen...be it engine, wiring, etc. etc.

Some people measure their adventures in miles or days. I prefer "lamp posts".

Liew..almost spent much of his money to get it fix. Then another thing comes...so at the end of day, he sold off his bike. But as for me..so far nothing much except those wear and tear stuffs..so ..once again..gd in finding ur cbr...if u want to get newer models, look for RR series..

Case by Case. Went to Malacca trips, after two daes, went striaght to pasir Gudang for track session. Been riding for 2 and 1/2 yrs, till now I do not have any major problems with my ride expect my fuel pump.

i can said that almost all Bladez are already or more than 10 yrs old, a major touch up or servicing is necessary be it a Cbr, Gsx, Zx or Rvf. You wont know whether the previous rider has the habit of taking care of it own bike. Most important is the engine.

It's quite difficult to figure out whether the engine is still in good condition or not but usually the shop will give you one month shop warrently, any problem, jolly well just send your bike back to the shop and get it retify.

My way of doing was to wack ur beast to the max, so that if there's any problem you still can get it done FOC. But before that, You need to get use of ur new bike riding style.

(My method might be wrong but this is the way how i test my bike.)
