always park my bike at the pavement at the carpark area btw 825 and 824

oic so maybe nxt time i keep a look out for ur bike then if cbr4 i put my helmet there n act as if my bike..haha...bt i'll try to look out fer u maybe can chill netime...have u ever seen any bikes parked under d blk where d old folks stay..i dun remember wat they call it..got tzm, scram ever c b4??

Just wanna reminds u guys not to be complacent while riding cause i juz got into accident lat friday 11.30pm while riding at PIE (changi) near eunos there.. Kena chialat2 cause juz back from running with my shorts n slippers.. Super pain like wanna cry man hehe.. The sad thing is that no one really came down to help me.. :cry:

 

My bike no need to say ah.. Juz after service man that morning.. So sad.. Guys service carburettor i thought $12 right.. Ba Yi insisted it was $25.. Then i only change my carbon fiber he charge me $25 also .. Spark plug he charged $15 but the racing type.. He used to charge me only $12.. I not complaining but juz wanna check out whether outside price is the same.. Devilish :help:

firstly...

its I LIVE AT TAMP... not leave.. hhehehe

 

spark plug,

its 15 bucks

 

when i servcie my carb its 25 bucks...

some shops will charge 30 bucks...

 

the reason is due to...

when u service carb,

it uses oil...

if they charge cheap2,

means they use minyak tanah (i dunno in english they call wat)

if they charge ard 25 to 30,

means they using petrol

 

but also must check wat they using to clean the carb...

some tend to rip u off..

 

for eg: my fren go jb to

clean his carb...

he saw that they were using water to clean the carb..

wtf?

so conclusion must always see wat the mechanic is doing...

dude the model he using is 9gv or something like that. unlike devilish's bike which is moded, our stock bike use b8es good enuf. 9gv to strong for us. trust me. use a normal one.

Cyborg -> Yes I understand ur complaint. A lot of my frens who are his regular customers complain that his prices are still very high even after 2yrs+ being his loyal customers. So now we're out on a mission: to search for a more reasonably-priced with similar or jus wee bit below Bayi's standard. Anyone has any lobangs? How abt this Gerry Looi workshop at Tampinese Ind Pk? Anyone been there b4? Will update u guys if we are able to find one. Btw, what Quovadis said regarding the spark plug is true. My block has been skimmed & thermostat removed therefore I'm able to take on a higher heat range. For stock blocks stick to 8 to be on the safe side.

 

Quovadis -> Yo bro amaciam? I passed my inspection already, this time without a stock silencer, hehehe. I jus stuffed in more fibre into my endcan, fixed on a rear brakelight switch & bought a chainguard and voila! Hehehe so I guess u can hold on to my silencer a li'l while longer. We'll sure meet up again one day. But it's best we communicate meetups on sms. Cos I'll be busy at work & won't have much time to login as frequently as i used to. How bout Jln Kayu supper then off to Dam as usual? Remember I can only make it on Friday nights...

U mean got some stupid mechanics do that meh? Oh man worst than a kampong mechanics sia.. So stupid.. My carburettor once sipped in water at which part ah (i dont know) then my bike effect as if like power valve break plus piston seize like that n the bike cannot idle for long if not engine dies off. For me normally the mechanics that i went they used my own tank petrol. Btw FOS u so famous ah even a few of my friends seems to know u.. We even talk about u haha..

Golden Ratio of 2-stroke performance: Air : Fuel : 2T : Plug Rating

 

When one goes up, the rest must follow suit. If u use a higher-rated (colder) plug, u need to increase the other factors accordingly to achieve optimum performance.

 

If u were to carry on using the no. 9, the downside effects won't be tremendous. So u CAN carry on using it til the next scheduled change. The plug u must watch out for is the Splitfire plug. The ground electrode (L-shaped) looks like a serpent's tongue, a Y-split. This plug, esp when used in conjunction with the Splitfire spark plug cable, can cause a hole in ur piston if ur bike is bone stock. It delivers too huge an amount of heat a stock setup can take. And that hole, can be the size of a 10-cent coin. My friends have been there & done that, both with an RXZ & TZM. The term the mechs used in Msia was "Boleh teropong rumah". Hehehe.
