Pipes?

- GPR

- Nob1 Round

- Nob1 Tri-Oval

- YY Pang

- Yoshimura Fake

- Yoshimura REAL

- Leo Vince

- AHM

- DBS

- Endurance REAL

- Endurance Not so REAL

- ABM

- Konic (Cone Shaped)

- Operated Pipe ('tong' pipe)

- R6 Stock Exhaust (modded to fit)

- Akraprovic Exhaust (Look like cone shape also, modded to fit)

*any more to add?*

these are the after market pipes that can be fixed/used on spark/x1r, but depending on your "balls" size.. only GPR is street legal.

wah tat's alot of choice man...

Intersting thread. X1-r and Spark

Hmm...x1-r modded lose to stock spark?

Then i want to ask this question,

a. If both x1-r and spark - both bike change to GPR pipe and Racing Cdi,

Which one is faster? i test stock spark, go 130km/h. i think can whack a bit more. x1-r i heard stock only 120km/h? any comments?

b. which is more comfortable riding?

c. which one is cheaper to maintain in Long Term, for example, disc brake. for x1-r must change how many years one time? spark drum brake change how many year? so long term wise....between spark and x1-r which one cheaper?

Use to own x1r...modded it to 150cc n etc can go 160km/h+...for me spark is more comfortable and more aftermarket parts...spark can go above 120km/h without changing cdi...stock x1r cant...spark cheaper also...:p

I'm interested in that topic too... pondering beside the engine what the other configuration might be different that pple claim Spark to be much faster than X-1R =)

yup many X-1R ryder mention the stock bike at most 120km/hr but some able to go slightly more.

Not many CUB comes in dual disc brake system, apart from 125z so I lurve it very much.

Still if you wanna have more torque and HP suggest a bigger bike. *if possible

go 160km/h? no point, waste money, its purpose is a transport bike not a racing bike.

spark cheap due to it uses drum rear brakes while x1r uses rear disc.

fun to ride a x1r thou:angel:

I agree that x1-r is for transport bike, but somehow weekend when u want to top up Shell in Jb, u gotta need the speed for some reason. That why im interested to know more abt x1-r in terms of speed.

anyway, my vote is for X1-r! Exterior is damn chio!

well, it's much more on the exterior design on which you prefer.

see. the reason why i choose x1-r myself is that i saw this modded x1-r in thailand which they make it more like a sporty yahama r6 but the mini version? sweet. While you compare to spark that has a skinny exterior is like a bicycle? (no offence to any spark rider) but if youre talking about speed. both stock bike, i would say spark can beat x1-r cause their pickup is much more faster i think? (from my experience) never the less tried with 125z on long distance and i can wave goodbye with my x1-r.

*in the end of the day, either both can win each other if you know how to put parts and pieces to form a masterpiece. :)
