The first day that the KPE opened is the first ticket issued to my dad after a few years of not hitting a ticket.. He got summoned at 80km/h.. Nice.. You should see the face of my dad.

 

"80km/h!!!!!! which crazy **** snapped me!!!" Then nxt day newspaper say that KPE cameras took 3k+ pple speeding..

i have been travelling for 2mth,everyday to work , my average speed is abt 85km/h to 89km/h.

but never kena any warning letter for tp le? but i alway travel on the continous line all the way from ECP to sengkang Exit. Now abit scary, i try travel on the line for another 2mth, see weather got kena from tp bo.

calculating meter error also, which bike passes the camera at what spd.

would a vespa passing at 85km/h and a V-Strom passing at 85km/h be the same?

Not really la. Once you are used to it, its normal actually. Just that alot of ppl talking abt it then you will notice. After that i think you will be more concern abt the speed you are travelling than the breathing hahaha. Its only warmer.

agreed, its only the heat and bad ventilation tat makes it feel warmer ....

Ya exactly. especially at nite, you warm warm inside the tunnel then come out the air like machiam AIRCON like that hahaha

I personally got snap in KPE with the speed of 87km/h (According to the summon).

 

Its too hot and warm, to ride inside... I have learned my lesson.. Will not take KPE ever again. Almost die inside

 

yeah..too hot & stuffy..if feeling unwell, better not ride in it..will collapse for sure..

yeah..fresh air...hahaha..i always speed up to 90-100 when i'm closing to the exit..can't wait to catch some fresh air :faint:

 

been riding in the tunnel at abt 75-80kmh during the stretch where no cam is located..no prob..pass thru the cam at abt 75kmh, no prob also..

kpe must go slow. wait got accident it is difficult. but it is sure hot inside that tunnel. but since i like to speed, i usually try my best to avoid kpe.

Thats interesting.

 

3:51 is roughly 2 very fast laps around PG, or one very slow lap around Sepang.

 

What I don't like is cruising beside lorries (Deafening tyre noise) or 2-stroke bikes with mosquito exhausts.
