2006 is d birth of d new generation of R6.

2007 improved design wit fly-by-wire throttle (or throttle chip-controlled/ ycct)

2008 improved design added with air-intake contol system (ycci)

2009 is wit all of d above but a tune-down in d mid-range power.

i heard from people saying the 07 R6 is a bit hard to handle on normal roads as its got 20000rpm, whereas the 08 is at 18000rpm. Meaning its kinda hard to ride at a normal speed.. I mean that's what i heard from the mechanic. So, from 07 onwards, which of it rides best?

i thought the 06-07 R6 had a false max rpm of 20000rpm so they corrected it for the 08 models?

the 06 model oredi has fly by wire throttle.. and yes the 07 model has a more accurate tacho but come on.. all bikes have a over optimistic tacho reading.. i repeat.. ALL bikes have it

06 to 07.... only tacho changed to max 18000(but it still wont hit 18000rpm, from dyno will only go max 16+++rpm).. few minor upgrades in oil passageways(meaning better lubrication within the engine itself) and a slight bump up of horsepower. not much... 1-3hp higher than the 06.
