Even the bip, mine, also has no space underneath the pillion seat, all i can put inside is parking coupons.

haha.

Oh ya correct! i remember Orange once showed me the compartment under the pillion, and he told the best it could be used for is to dry his wet gloves and heat up his "Kosong" Prata... Lol.... :cheeky:

My gosh... recently, when i put my black key in, the code word stays on and cant start... After many attempts of turning on anf off, the code goes off and i manage to start it i ride the bike home. I tried using the red key and manage to start. i rode it down to the shop to let Eugene check on it. Now the red key also cannot start the bike.

Eugene can't seem to find the problem and we're waiting for the Italians to reply.. :( Damn... Any 999 riders or others faced this problem?

Hey Corse,

Hows the situation with the car chase you were talking about?

Any more drama??

Haha. No drama.. no news yet.

Apparantly a friend from TP said that even undercover TP will not have a white blinker light.

I'm still trying to find out the whearabouts of this car. S**9696* Gun Metal WRX.

This guy is really up to no good. Y would he wanna keep a white blinker light? Scare pple on the road? pretend he's TP so pple will change lane when he's speeding?

The hunt for him is not over yet. My news has spread to all my biker frens to keep an eye out. I suppose he's also looking out for me too.

guys, i have a question that bothers me for very long..

should i throw my 45k on a ducati 1098

or

should i add 15k on top of the above to get a cheap and affordable car?

(my friend said if i get duke might as well buy car and i think it's quite true la)

sp i dont know should i follow my passion (ducati) or reality (car). sometimes i might need to travel to meet my clients (i dont mind riding actually) and then also my gf wants me to get a car (i think majority sg girls prefer cars then bikes). but i have this burning desire to ride a ducati, especially 1098!!

so ducati or car?

please give me your 2 cents.

I say get your 1098 and live the best of your live for owning something you always wanted.

Dump in some money to own a car and drive your GF or family around when spending time with them.

I think your friend comment is quite true but that's a wrong phrase to use.

I'll say, dump away the Subaru WRX or whatever sports car and get the Ducati 1098.

So each got it's preference eh...

Touch your heart, ask yourself what you wanted and how far could you afford etc.... last call, your choice.

Cheers!

the other alternative is to go for a 2nd hand bike and get a weekend or cheaper car.

There will be other dukes(916series or 999series) for sale but you must wait for the opportunity. They cost a fraction of the new bike price. As for the experience of riding a duke these older models will not disappoint. With 60k in mind this option is possible

It's been sometime since last hearing from U! How's life been? I might be heading back to track soon... Work load is lighter next month, maybe can squeezed out some time.... It's also been a long time since we last ride together.... Got my Duke all serviced up and ready to go again! And this time better suspension setup and brakes!!! Hehe!!!

thanks for the advises people, appreciate that. i have decided to go for a ducati instead of a car.

but my gf is still upset at my decision thou, so most probably will console her by getting a 848 instead, since it is roughly 10k cheaper and look exactly like 1098 (what are the diff in outlook anyway? the black bottom fairing right and wet clutch right?). i heard 848 is better for tracking than 1098?

It's much much easier to handle for a newbie and advance trackie... But if u are a pro, get the 1098 instead....
