Ducati Riders

snowman (or woman) perhaps many riders here already have a car to begin with... or maybe a second bike for daily transport...

 

besides for the same amount, you can only get a super normal car.. just good for transport.. nothing to shout about...

whereas with the same amount, on a Ducati.... its almost the loudest statement you can make on 2 wheels.

 

Me personally, was just to fulfill my childhood dream of 15 years ago.... and to rekindle my love for 2 wheels...

Freaking bored stuck in a cage during jams when I know I could have been the rider that just pass by........

*duc rider, just a short survery. Since buying a duc is as good as buying a car (base model like toyota or honda). The downpayment and monthly installment is abt the same. Why do rider still choose to buy duc again and again instead of changing to car?

 

beside the passion of riding, the unqiue of duc

 

Actually car prices have gone so crazy high now that what you pay for a new duke only can pay for the COE of a small car. That said, I find that the loan interest rates for bikes are crazy too, more than double that of car loans, so I cldnt bring myself to take a loan to get a higher end bike like the 999 or 1098.

 

For me, like many others, it is also to fulfil a dream.

Somewhere erotic? Lup sup bar or go "massage" after all the riding? I was thinking can go fort road to have the photoshoot since its near Kallang Mac or East Coast KFC. It faces the kallang river and not too much traffic there.

bro, finally collected my bike after 2 months + out of action. fortunately imported the right part and the FCR carbs running very well. was with a little blind faith cos FJT could not confirm if the part being ordered was the one that would fit. thats what happens when u ride a 17 year old ducati. anyway, i am a happy man. unfortunately 17 Oct i'm not able to come (wife's overseas and i am home alone with the kids). would be nice to catch up with the other ducati riders here.
