bladdy hell that is a kickass clutch cover, 250 usd on that fine piece of ass ?

 

it cost me 85 euros , 153.46sgd,but its never about the price,it must be kickass!dis is my passion,i dun cut corners,the sky the limit but of coarse it depends on the wallet as well!

i dun think ther's any warranty issue , even u dun go back to minerva , cause its a D.P & generally they dun kick out a fuss even if something goes wrong,but if u use stm/evr , dats another issue altogether!

 

700sgd is a very good price,i think a new one cost 2 plus!

i bought from a guy who swop to stm before he even collected his 1098r,i think i pays him 1,500.

 

but whatever it is ,its worth the moolah!

i had a slipper for my sps for many a year but when i rode my latest one's without,it feel so funny/strange!

for me,any big ducati,the very 1st thing u must meddle is the slipper & the clutch cover plus the termigs !

dats so many things being said abt wheel lock up if u downshift to many without a slipper but for me the most awesome part is the pick up point.

u engage the lever,click 1st gear,rev a bit & dump the clutch!

oh bro, unfortunately, its still at the bike shop. i wont be bringing it out till next week. looking forward to join ducati riders for the next meet-up when i got the bike.

never,never,never leave....................................... your bike @ the bike shop?

u can leave it there for repair/servicing,but most shop 'll able to get it out within a day,accident damage is another issue.

heard many cases bikes 're being x'change of their parts? u noe most bike shop got a pool of regulars,members or close associate who hang around after shop is closed,open a few bottles as well.

the practice is shop around,haggle @ the price, do your loan,pays your deposit,the moment the name is x'fered , take it out from the shop,even though u 're not riding / using it for the next week or so !

what happens after the shop 're closed , if i tell u , is really SCARY!

(i 've to cover my self,if not all shop owners 'll run after me?)glad to says its only a sad minority who do type of thing(s).

but the question ,why do u need to park @ the shop,longer than necessary?????????????

Well, not sure if u guys have problem with Mary as i believe she's twisting n turning her words....

i got quite disappointed with her as i placed an order (thru a dealer - which get the bike from Minerva)

in October....

bike suppost to be arriving end Nov - Early Dec cuz there're no reds available....

i was expecting delays, called Mary up to get some info....she told me End Dec - Early Jan....fair enough (still patient)...

 

went down to Minerva on 13th Dec, met a great salesman (Joe) to get e Gloves (cuz i'm expecting my ride to be in together with Pumpkin on 20th - 24th)...

was chatting nicely with him when suddenly Mary appeared and told me that "oh, your bike will be coming earliest Feb 2011...your dealer haven confirmed with me whether to order or not"

 

so, the excitement gone...and i didnt even get the gloves (pointless)....

just gonna wait and wait.....

Well really sad to hear those disappointing news from you guys. Delay will always be expected when festive season is round the corner. And also priorty will be given to those who order thru minerva. Nevertheless good stuff is always worth d wait ya.
