...... but soon realised that this bunch is a very civilised bunch on the road.

 

Yesterday when Maxby suggested to go S.Bouna Vista, i was worried cos i have yet to bring this bike up that infamous route. Anyway, i just took it slow and followed the lorry (that u all overtook) most of the way up. (Really want to thank Alvin on the Hayabusa who swept me all the way up SBV and down Portsdown Rd. I felt bad for him to follow me slowly on his Haya, really appreciate his effort to take care of slow rider. Thanks Alvin!)

......Riding on public roads is not abt fast or slow....juz enjoy the ride out and the "sound".....

otherwise....things/issues will get "Social-political"...and passion/frenships will be lost......

sat nite ... checked the forum ... PMed Fesa ... i was feeling anxious ... frankly i felt like going on my first date ...

 

lots of questions runs through my mind ... will i like them ... will they like me ... what if i ride too slow ... what if my bike not as nice as theirs ... what if my bike not as bling-bling as theirs ... what if they smoked me ... i dont know anybody ... and yes ... i did want to back out ... but as father of soon to be 3 kids ... 2 hours riding with a bunch of friends is like a greatest gift from God himself ... so i cannot take this chance away ... got the exit permit from wifey ... thats one obstacle down ... her words were ... "what time you coming back? i got shopping to do, the kids needs milk powder blah blah blah blah ..." as her words faded into my numb brains ...

Nice writeup. Don't worry. U weren't "slow". In fact, you even pulled a wheelie. Like I mentioned to you on that day, the group were riding slightly faster for some reason. Think its the 99 bends that got them all fired up. Glad you enjoyed yourself and welcome to the family. There will be more to come and more wheelies for you to pull.

i understand the ise of man rd from the m.f to 99bend is awesome , any hot blooded bikers 'll get exicited , but the one's leading the group(varies every meet) need to realised he got more than 10 bikes behind him & it could all in tears or worse the authorities get to know of it?

we 're on to a good thing so dun screw it up,a pre ride briefing got to be the order of the day,next?

any sorts of feedback is much appreciated.

Hi ducati Riders, may I know how is the maintainence like, for a 08 Ducati 696? I've read it on some European website that there will be a major servicing at 12,000km. What is the servicing about? Can the bros here kindly enlighten me? Thanks a million.

Fernandolumtorres went straight to Colbar & Suria came so late I actually got a bit of shock cos I had already packed up my notebook and getting ready to go home. So cannot do work incomplete, I told Fesa to make mental note of it.... heehee

i would suggest the new flash pay one's cause our fotos would not be disturb , whereas the old cash card 've the chip plus the cash card logo on the surface,everything 'll be ruined !

new type as long can put in IU, i dun mind. So far I only know how to use the old type but the cards are UGLY! My old fav Alfa Romeo cash card presented to me when I took delivery in 2005 is expired liao, cannot use anymore.... Been thinking how to print a nice cash card, so now u offer, I WANT!!!

Just like to say HI! Ohayo pointed me here....I'm quite new to the Ducati Fraternity....riding a MS1200S, just got the bike in NOV 2010....look fwd to meeting with u folks sometime!
