Hi bros, I was wondering, if I wanna get DP CF parts, is it better to get it from Minerva or to get it online. Your advice is much appreciated. Thanx...

 

In my humble opinions and experiences, DP CF parts are best sought online. If you get through Minerva, it will take very very very long time. It doesnt equal to cheapest saving too.

 

I always buy from http://www.carbonworld.de (free shipping!). Thru ebay as well. If you have more money and have eye for quality products. Go for http://www.shift-tech.com

 

If you are buying alot at one time, you can ask for package deal. ^_^

I second carbonworld.de, got a few parts from them. But recently stumbled upon another site tekarbon.com. Slightly cheaper than carbonworld.de, Bought one item from them but the quality seems lower too. So the choice is yours!

retail price from minerva is SGD240, and online stores around 200 USD.

Used for 3000 kms and it is very good condition, 9/10. throw out bearing is almost like new. Spring caps will be included also. Caps are black in color.

What do you mean by they don't fit? you have to replace the retainer clips as well. Unless the race fairings are carbon then on plastic fairings it'll be too tight.

Just ask my mechanic send my bike for inspection. Put in d silencer, yet result comes out fail.

Apparently there was 1 stupid angmoh got caught on d road for termis n told d authority they y the termis are not approved since he passed his inspection. Now d inspection centres are very strict towards dukes inspection all thanks to this angmoh. Wtf!

 

Anyway weather are hot nowsaday so are our bikes.

So time for some chilling session!!!!

Apparently there was 1 stupid angmoh got caught on d road for termis n told d authority they y the termis are not approved since he passed his inspection. Now d inspection centres are very strict towards dukes inspection all thanks to this angmoh. Wtf!

 

Anyway weather are hot nowsaday so are our bikes.

Put original system on and it will pass. I've had multiple Ducati's and the only one that passed inspection with termi's was my Hyper slip-on.

Apparently heard that LTA is 'on e ball' now...so, i've decided to watch the show till they get tired chasing after bikes...eventually all will melow down somehow....

 

went to Minerva to get my steering damper fixed....

got news that they're trying to apply for approval from the authority for the Termis to be fixed on our Dukes? so, lets wait for any good news...and if approved, u should see a pair of CF Termis on my bike?

IF not approved, well, i guess i have to pluck a set of original end cans from online and... (u should know what i'm gonna do with it right?)

 

Do update on Fri night or Sunday meet up as i need to inform Louis and Idil as they're not from forum (and i'm off to Malacca on Sat afternoon...be back on Sunday evening)..

guys.. just FYI to u all. I got stop by LTA yesterday evening while i am on my way hm.. of cause my arrow is without DB killer but so far i am quite lucky until yesterady. I got stop and str forward he wan to fine me formy slip on without DB..

 

I crap some story out and luckily i got fine for signal light... so guys.. because while u r on the road.. duc will be at least 3 times louder than mine..
