Thanks a lot for the recommendations! Appreciate it. Any idea what the cost might be? Probably wouldn't need any servicing of the suspension, just adjustment and customization to my weight

So the Traffic Police are now joining in the fun as well? Thought illegal mods come under the sole purview of LTA now....

 

This is the misconception most ppl have bro..whatever LTA can do, TP also can do.just that LTA has the 'luxury' to solely concentrate on technical offences while TP have the extra work load of attending to accidents, vip escorts and moving offences especially speeding.

 

Cos i have seen TPs escorting bikes n cars to inspections as well..

Yes, bro, I understand that. Just like how Land Divs can also stop and report up illegal mods during road blocks and how citizens can actually make arrests and refer offenders to the police... But the TP has gone on to give up some aspects that were under their purview to LTA so that they can be focused. They still can hunt for illegal mods but it's just going back on why they gave up certain areas (e.g. illegal parking) and chose to focus solely on traffic offences.

 

Looks like they are free after all. :p

If you're talking about just setting static and rider sag, setting a baseline damping setting for front and rear, it should not cost a lot. Probably less than 50 bucks. But if you're talking about customisation to your weight, this may involve custom springs, damping kits or even a aftermarket shock. This could set you back anything from a few hundred up to thousands.

 

Best to pay a visit or call them and tell them what you want. It's always about what you want from the bike and how much you're willing to spend.

Hi, its been awhile since i met you guys, saw all the posts on how LTA is hunting us down on our Termi, so i decided to change back my OEM exhaust, DIY myself, first time running my stock exhaust since i took out my ride. Some how rather the ride doesnt feel so lively without the Termi"s growl... well guess have to stay low for the time being. Was thinking of the dry clutch conversion... @ElTigre, bro are you still considering on the conversion maybe we can convert together.. :)

Hey guys i was wondering what are the service intervals for valve clearence and timing belt change? and also the estimated cost of it. taking the 1098 in this situation. And i always hear dukes going pass my house in woodlands! lol..thier my sweet alarm clocks! hahaha..

Before tat better check with minerva whether does it affect d warranty if your do d conversion.

But more or less can guess their answer. :cheeky:

Yeah. Engine no warranty! Hasnt seen minerva for a long time already. If i do go back....lolx.."i am sorry to tell you that your bike is modded with many non ducati approved modification, hence is no longer under warranty programe"

Just saw a HM with pillion being pulled over by LTA, along AYE exit joining Keppel Viaduct towards ECP......:cry:

 

E TERMIs.....sure are loud, while passing my car:thumb:

 

So DUCATISTs.....do be prudent, suppose it's NOT over yet o_O
