just curious, how many Ducati Base model owners out there wished they had DTC on their bikes?

Ask the real question, how many ducati owners out there with DTC actually use it or feel it on the road?

Might be a different story on the track though.

I does kick in for me quite often even at setting "1" (least intrusive). Thinking of turning it off altogether but I think it can save my @SS

well does DTC means i wont wheelie everytime i do a fast launch pick up?

cause its kinda hard to keep my wheels on the ground everytime i wan to do a hard pick up. scares the **** out of me sometimes when i didnt expect it...

Hi guys,

My 848 is due for 12k servicing thus, May I get some expert advice on the following:

a) for 12k servicing, advisable to be done at agent or other bikeshops?any bikeshop lobang that good at Ducati?pros and cons of not going to agent?

b) wat is to expected to be done and things to look out for?

c) any other way to remove the "svs" @ the meter other then agent?

Any comments & views is greatly appreciated.apologies for off topic & noob qns. And also if such questions had been discussed...

Thanks in advance...

Warranty in - agent

Warranty out - other bikeshops with the diagnostic tool to remove the "spanner" logo.

12K main keypoint is checking/adjusting of desmo valves clearance.Changing of engine oil,brake/clutch fluids,2 spark plugs and overall check of the bike.

Just a rought estimation:

1 - Transport + Insurrance (£700)

2 - Import fees (varies depending on the importer my experience around £400)

3 - Custom Duties (12% of bike price + 1 + 2)

4 - GST (7% of bike price + 1 + 2 + 3)

5 - Inspection

6 - Registration (COE + RF + Road Tax + ARF (15%) + IU)

7 - Insurance

So if you start of a £15k (after import, price in singapore will be around $47/48k), i'm not sure you'll save money but you'll definitly lose time.

In my case, i already had this bike in the UK before moving to Singapore and didnt want to sell it to buy the same one here.

Let me know if you have any questions.
