hit it !

dat looks like a very familiar bike in the background, mate?

I need to check with mm first whether it will void my warranty. And The video just show the clean condition when vehicle is stationary. Have to wait for one guy who installed it to show me the picture after the bike already move on.

Any advice where can i wrap my exhaust? And where can i get heat shield?

Thanks!

If you are riding a 1199, go with an STM dry or with Bursi. Else, I don't see a point you should have a see through clutch cover. If you're going to see it, put it out there. if you're going to see it through a glass then it's a bit of an oxymoron - like cookies in a jar, if you see it IN the jar and you can't touch em' then you'd rather have it in a zip lock bag.

Well that's what I think.

Good evening fellow Ducati riders, have some questions hope any seasoned Ducati riders may help me.

Im currently riding a 848evo and I had issues with the temperature rising fast and hot. I understand that the fans will kick in at 103degrees and usually during heavy traffics or hot day I experience temperatures rising till 105 before dropping again. However, after a while I start to see the temperature rising faster and initially over hit till 106 - 108. However after a while It will rise very fast during traffic junctions and stops at 110. I did a read up and understands that the gauge will only read till 110 degrees, that worries me a lot as I do not know how high it can actually hit.

I had since done 2 coolant flush and refill within 2 months and It will only solve the temperature issues for about 3 weeks before the problem comes again. Can anyone share ur experience here and advises? Or is it me that Im over reacting >.

2ndly, my bike had is fitted with termi slip-ons and while riding i've experience quite a bit of backfire whenever I close trottle. Is it normal?

Thanks everyone! Ride safe!

Try checking the radiator pressure cap. If problem still persists, check thermostat.

Backfiring is normal, sounds good mah. :)

My bike is stock! Please don't jio me!

Backfiring really depends on whether your termi pipes were fitted together with the termi ecu or the stock ecu. The bike usually doesn't misfire when on termi ecu except on certain rare occasions.

If you are using a stock ecu, then you'd expect backfiring due to the lean afr.

Good luck.

Just bought 2010 848 and notice I am getting avg 120km from full tank until reserve light comes on. This seems rather low mileage. Can anyone confirm is this is usual ??

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Hey guys, thinking of getting this, any idea if the previous owner is from here ?

And the 48k servicing is coming soon for this bike, so wondering what's the cost gonna be like ?

Any inputs is greatly appreciated , thanks guys :)

My advice get the plate number and go to MM check with Zul the service records of the said bike.. Btw the bikes at that shop been there for sometime.. The servicings would cost about 700+?

If you are interested might wanna consider mine? Hehehe.. ;)

CB400 Revo (2/6/2008-24/4/2009)

DRZ (25/4/2009 - 25/4/2010)

R6 '10 (11/6/2010 - 11/05/2012)

Ducati 1098 '08 (02/07/2012 - ??)

48K servicing need to change timing belt as well which will be around 1.2k total.

Vespa Px200, Tzm150, Spark 135, DRZ400sm, Yamaha r1' 07, Ducati 1098s - Past rides

BMW C600 Sport, BMW HP4 - Present rides

for a 1098 that price is resonable but thinking abt servicing u need to fork out up to 4 digits that is a killer

if ur pocket allow u to and if u intend to renew COE then do consider it. Cause in 3yrs time ur COE shld expire if this bike is reg in 2007.

Buy it! Ride it! Enjoy it! Rather than spending 1200 on servicing, ride until service is due then buy a replacement engine of eBay $2k then you have a bike that has done 8000km and you have an engine full if spares if needed! You could wen look at an 1198 engine just for a laugh... Then you have a 2012 model...

It doesn't matter what the question is, the answer is more power!
