I always go with a helmet that can cover the jaw area. Flip up or full face safer.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

How much did they quote you for each piece of the 39t sprockets? The postage is for 3 pieces or per piece?

Hi Bros,

I have a 2002 TA200 and I'm a bit confused with taillight.

At night (headlights ON), is there supposed to be a taillight on?

So far, The only rear light on is the light for license plate. Apart from that, I have the brakelight, which is OFF unless brakes are applied.

Is Ta200 supposed to have a taillight that is permanently on when headlights are on?

Thx...

if u off the headlights, the tailight will go off. however the brakelights will work when u brake.

when u on headlights, tail light will on.

if ur tail light is not on unless u brake, despite yr headlights on, check your tail light bulb. got 2 filaments inside, maybe 1 fuse already.

p.s. posted this under http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/199965-Technical-Possible-Solutions-to-your-Phantom-s-Problem?p=8141698#post8141698 last few problems on lighting.

operate a vehicle in a way that you benefit other road users pls - and meanwhile, stop whining! be responsible and be safe.

I'm having trouble removing the pillion footrest from my bike. Left side was removed easily, but the right side (one bolt is attached to the exhaust pipe) is proving difficult. Is it removable in the first place?

ANyone got ideas of how / where to place some kind of "basket/container" to keep stuff while riding?

Possible to place it on the tank? or maybe near the handlebar area? Anyone seen anything done before?

I don't like having my wallet / phone etc in my pockets when ride. Rather store them in a basket (like those scooters / kapcai).

1. find a pouch of your own liking with straps, secure around tank with the straps

2. fix position by including in the pouch (perhaps sew in or put in a compartment) a magnet from a old harddisk!

Behind got a nut IIRC. Maybe u turn the bolt, the nut turn together.

This nut right? Seized already. Will soak in WD40.

You are talking about removing the triangle mounting right? Cos the footpeg is usually mounted by a retaining bolt and cotter pin.

Yeap, basically remove the pillion footrest because I don't pillion anyone.

The thing is, is the footrest part of the support for the exhaust pipe? As in, is the exhaust pipe partly held up by the footrest? Because it seems like if I remove it, the exhaust pipe is left "hanging" there.

The mounting is part of the exhaust mounting. Unless you modify and add longer bushings, if not mounted exhaust might crack and break near the end can.
