You are correct. Last time when I just started riding I change bike every 6 months until I found out that cruiser or dragster bike my preferred choice.

if u are not looking for speed, u wan comfort for urself and pillion, TA wont go wrong, trust us...the only downside of TA is u cant outrun a 2 stroke sportsbike only aaahahaaaa....

Pay cash better because 2nd hand bike interest around 8% per annum which is $120 if loan is $1500. Insurance will also set you back around $800-900 for young rider (ah peek bike like Phantom). If you buy sports model like Kawasaki kr150 or yamaha r15 then be prepared to pay up to $1600 for insurance. If take loan from shop definitely have to take first party insurance. If pay in full can opt for 3rd party insurance which can be quite a lot cheaper.

aiya, just take whatever bike that meets your needs. i would love to have a r15, but budget constrait, settled for ta200, turns out not that bad choice, faster than r15 somemore. but speed is not everything. i get to enjoy cheap oil change, cheap parts, 40km/l efficiency. get phantom!

Anyway, TA200 is the new bulletproof la, an advanced version of ahpek qia like cm125,cg125,gn125 etc.

I ride until my gearbox got got smoke coming out when i park (engine was super hot .. think running too lean) and it's still suriving.

Put r15 or rs125 in my hands, few weeks the bike "kiqia" I believed >.

I don't like the sound. I had an RXS115 and the sound was terrible. Come home late wake up the whole neighborhood.

After you upgrade then you will not like the ta150 sound liao.

I stopped riding bikes 1997 and switched to cars. My last bike was Yamaha FZX 750. I owned it until around 1999 then scrap. Was driving car that time and the COE was 1000+ so no point. My license got gantong in 2004 because accumulated more than 24 points and I took MRT and bus for the next 6 years. I then got itchy and took my class 2b again and I passed 1st try as already have experience. Then bought a cheap rxs and can't take the noise, 2t smoke and vibrations. So changed to Phantom. My friend just bought super 4 and his phantom under utilized so I took over for very cheap. Only clocked 4200km so bike still very new. Some parts rusted because of rain but cannot be seen. Was surprised the phantom engine so smooth. That is my story.

uncle at hwa chin quoted me $800 for a FULL overhaul along with welding of the broken part on the model block...basically im like changing a whole engine block because almost everything inside was damaged/worn out due to leaking of EO, its just 1 step away from piston jam and the bike can uplorry liao.

 

will go down everyday to see what they do to the engine block...

At least 10 time bah? $150 for 2 shot. but since you say you ah pek already maybe $150 1 shot? haha. .

You give your kids how much allowance a month? If you giving $600 , maybe i can understand why you

asking me to pay cash. . I only getting at most $300 a month . . pay cash must eat grass for 5 months. .

i not looking for speed but looking for looks also . . haha . my dream bike was a gilera runner , st200 all those .

but when i found out the price i totally -.- thats why thinking to settle for phantom or kup . .

But like so many bike to choose from abit headache leh . .

 

manual bike u turn must change gear . i abit lazy leh feel like getting a scooter . . maybe fino since fuel consumption on

par with the phantom and its air cooled . . some guy say air cooled lesser maintenence fee. haha or just buy one cheap one

after passing license then change every 6 months like uncle greg? haha
