Hi guys!

 

I don't know about you guys, but i have been trying to find Straight Razor ever since i was in my teens. I have tried so many places from Geylang Serai, Haig Road, Tampines, AMK and i cannot find them! I go to the various mama shops near my house, they got the blade but no handle! Is this an illegal tool? Only barbers have them and i can see that they are so rare and old. I feel that a straight razor will be the only razor to give an extrememly clean cut. We guys know that no matter how expensive our safety razors are, they will ALWWYS get clogged up. For those of you who may not know what i am talking about, check out this link.

Straight razor?

 

Well, a straight razor.

Its the straight razor that holds a razor blade so shave your sideburns, beard etc. If you are old-skool guys like us, you will prefer going to barbers. Cheaper and wait not so long. They have this tool and use it all the time.

But not looking for those where you need to sharpen with a leather strap. The ones where can replace the blade. So after your slash someone, oops! I mean after a long shave, you can dispose the blade and get a new one. :)

I'll try ask this weekend when I'm getting my next haircut.

aiya, beach road, Golden Mile Complex 1st floor got 1 or 2 barber accessories shop selling these, they got electric trimmer, brush, everthing except selling the barber chair only.

Yup. I finally found it in that same year. 2009. Mustafa Centre. They only got one brand of straight razor which the razor blade can only be used by that one brand.
