1. Coolant system may be clogged with rust and flow is being constrain. Also possible that coolant has gone bad.

2. As for the 'sandy' sound..eo is likely not sutiable. Try mine

Why hot? Theres a couple of reasons -based on my personal experience

1) Thermostat not working - This means that the thermostat does not kick in the fan at the required temp. Damage - $60

2) Connector from the radiator spoiled or loosen - The fan won't kick in, thus no cooling system. Damage $65

3) Fan spoilt. No fan, means no cooling the engine. Ride fast enuff and you can cool the engine, but risk overheating the engine though. Damae - $not sure.

How does a thermostat kick in the fan?..its inside the housing of the radiator system. You mean the radiator fan detector switch?..its only $48.

What connector is that? Are you referring to the radiator fan detector switch again or the connector to the temp switch just outside the thermostat housing?:sian:

Hot weather is one thing but usually when your bike is stationary or moving slowly, the heat from the engine block is not side stream backward...goes under the tank and upwards towards the tight etc..that's what makes things feels hot. This is not a single cyclinder bike..like a Phatom..etc..there are four 100cc engine spread across under your tank..what do you expect? :sian:

Its good that the temp lights do not comes "on".

hey guys...i just got my version s...my rpm meter is not working...does it affect the lighting of my temp light? i've brought it back to the garage once...first it was my fan thats not working...i went back...he got it done and its blowing...now my temp light comes randomly...sometimes its on...when i travel longer...it dims and gone...den come again suddenly...could it be that my rpm meter is really faulty? 1 more question....is the fuel gauge not accurate all the time? prob when travelling its not accurate...but does it bounce back to normal once stationary? hope somebody can enlighten me....

Maybe you refering to the sound of chain and sprokets? Its normal for s4. Or the sound coming from the front side, if it does, maybe your front brake pads. cus mine like that last time...

Hi,

I just dropped my bike while pumping tyres this morning. I have slight dent on tank. Anyone have idea where i can fix the dent? if no, anyone has idea how much the new tank is and where I can get it other than BS? Oh. I also broke my right side mirror. Where is best place to get it? Is the non-original vibrating during high-speed? Thanks.

Last year when I asked was $69 a piece for the original...LAB look alike $30 one pair...careful though that the back view indication relfection may not be of true distance.
