Speed is about control, control comes from your wrist.

An accident will cause you to lose your wrist, which in turns leads to losing control and eventually speed.

Think twice before twisting your wrist.

YUP. can be adjusted. i did it.

Bro would u mind helping me adjust lower?? :cheeky:

i 2nd tt too, wym mech mentioned be4 can, but why weird bro?

Like sis whitefang explained, i feel its kinda hard to kick up... thats why must position my foot infront or else hard to kick... hard to explain.

the footrest is not too bad for me, its the kick gear, and foot brake that is the wrong angle.. can adjust those or not? if can, go where adjust? got charge or not?

initially i really had a bit of trouble "reaching it" cos it was too high for me, so when i kick gear from 1st to 2nd gear, always kena neutral cos i never kick high enough. now actually adjusting to it slowly liao lah..

If u notice, rear brakes disc are smaller and onli one compare to 2 big disvc infront... That is to minimise the braking force pressure apply for the rear. Now look back to our R15, onli one disc brake infront compare to two on ur r1.

It's good to apply both brakes at the time as it minimise shifting center of gravity too much. Motogp doesn't use rear brakes because they use engine brake on the rear wheel to control their speed.

Rear brakes are very good at low speed control. At open roads like SG, emergency brakes are also often required. If rely onli front brakes how to brake in time. Onli on tracks or when u wanna race on open roads then it's right to say use less on rear brakes as u are utilizing engine shifting braking method.

BUT. Open roads are full of dangers. Race there are onli for the bigger balls cheaper life ppl... =P

but the bottom line is the footrest cannot change place issit? oni the gear and brake can change ah?

I dun understand liao... U wan change the whole foot rest ah? If that's so, i think by seeing u know cannot liao. Speent 300+ buy the adjustable footrest bah

It's not the footrest tat u are uncomfortable with... It more on the levers' angle. Tat can be adjusted.

in term of technique apply they do drop gear and tap brake that's how they do in motogp

ITS NOT THE SIZE OF THE ENGINES IN THE RACES BUT THE SIZES OF THE BALLS IN YOUR TROUSERS
