True bro, can fit in.. But not the same as how u will corner with v2 and v1 cos like u said the rear is 130/70 and v1 is 100/80.. The gap different is not much but performance wise? Maybe for balance, recommend u to have a heavier balancer maybe? Since u dont mind bout speed..

Ok bro. I guess i need to research more about the wheel and rims sizes. When i ride without pillion no issue actually. But only when there is a pillion, not "solid" enough. Also come to think of it if i need to spend alot of money to just say maybe buy a thicker rear rims and put the wider tires in, plus all the effort and time, might as well use the money for a 2A bike which has already wider tires. But then again COE is $6,800. Im thinking by end of this year it might shoot up to $9000. Next year might exceed $10000.

Haizz.....i just dont understand.

Gloves don't help much, I tried. I can straighten my back and grip the tank more with my legs so the body weight don't rest too much on my palms. But I can't enjoy riding if I have to be very mindful of my riding position all the time.

So no one has tried to mess with the bike's height so far?

For some reasons my IU doesn't get detected in some carparks. I wonder whether it is because I have it on the left hand side. I saw some R15s have IU mounted on the right hand side. Anyone having this issue?

My IU was already mounted on the right when i bought over as a 2nd hand. I dont have any issues with the IU detection at all. unless the sensor is faulty:)

Yep happen to me ToO some cant detect thus causing a major hog at carpark. Mine On the left. Just switch it to the right today. Before that takw some time n needa adjust the bike before it's able to detect. After switchig to the right its much faster in detecting

Hello all,

Just came back from Yamaha Service Centre at Hong Leong corporation, tech guy told me that my R15 chassis is bent due to me sitting on the bike while on side stand (He saw me sitting on it this morning while I was waiting for the service centre to be opened)

Was wondering if the R15 chassis could be bent because of me sitting on the bike while its on side stand? Anyone of you guys had such experience before? Mine's a R15 version 2 by the way.

The technician also mentioned that any further bent will result in the engine failing off the chassis and I've to scrape the whole bike as they don't offer chassis replacement in Singapore. I'm kinda worried as this is my first bike and the last thing I want to do is to scrape it.......

Is there anything that I can do? I'm thinking of sending it to another service centre to get a second opinion...... Any veteran R15 riders please advise me on what to do, I'm really worried about the chassis issue. Thank you!

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!
