hi all this is my first time joining the chat. Got my R15 - Yellow few days back. good bike few thing not too sure - Did anyone encountered neutrual gear hard to kick on? mine is difficult, is it normal? Still doing running in, so I actually did tried to ram it to 75km/h but i can only do 65km/h, I think i scare to accelerate more that the reason.

for running in i think maintain within 5000rpm for the 1st 500km ba, dun whack the bike too hard.

for the difficult-to-find-neutral issue, after 1st engine oil change, the gear shifting/find-neutral should be smoother and easier.

its better to maintain at 5000rpm first for ur 1000km. jus bear with it... after ur 1st service dan u might wan to try abit higher rpm.

btw where do you stay.... punggol???

hi fastspeed, It's normal for the start. due to mineral oil used and ur gears are still tight in the gearbox.

the running portion u mention, i dun really understand... =.= during running in, u wan whack how much also can. just that it's recommended to not to do it so as the engine and it's components can sit properly and have a longer life.

yup! it's the sound of the ECU i guess... when u turn on the ignition without starting the engine, the bike's ECU will check all electronics. once the tachometer finished it's sweep. the whistling sound should be gone until u start ur engine.

there's another whistling sound mention to be heard by all R15 riders which is a totally different sound, came out from the petrol tank.

try baking ur R15 under the hot sun for a while and shake it. u will be able to hear petroleum vapor escaping due to evaporation and high pressure in the gas tank.

Why many pple say spark135 is good is because got a lot of accessories for sparks. Many like to play with accessories make it look nice nice.

To think of it either to choose sparks135 or r15 is your personal preference.

As for me I also like sparks135 last time but then after FZ150i come out i prefer FZ150i cause it's shape and resemblence is just like my old Rxz can install box at the back and the tank is bigger than Spark135.

Just pick your personal preference. See which one you need or wish. Don't need to hear abt pple say cause every pple got different preference.

Hope you make a good choice.

Choose wisely bro.
