bro, i am not too sure if that's the glue ..but instructions given is that u will just have to apply the liquid on the filing too to smoothen the punctured hole before u actually thread the word thru the other tool with a hole and then push it into the punctured hole, then push it in completely, then pull out slightly and then twist the toll 1/4 turn and then pull out hard, this last pull should break the worm and it will then stay in place. ...cut off the remnants of the worm such that it flushes with the tyre bro ......btw, my dad's fren who's a tyre mechanic din use the glue at all when he mended my bro's fazer's tyre

however if u mended the hole and it still leaks, then should check again ...

use either soap or ur saliva ....rub it near the hole ..if u see bubbles coming out , then should be it is still leaking ...

my 2 cents

ah... okok. the first time my frd help me did my patch, saw him apply the 'glue' on the worm itself then stuff the worm in. thought was a glue applied to adhere the worm to the tire.

thanks for sharing!

think got a few holes that cause my tire to lau hong slowly...

so gotta pump once every few days....

got any soultion to that???

the holes are actually quite small so cant use the patching...

Posted

can use patching.... they will just poke through the holes to make way for that patching stick thingy... But then again it won't last very long and it becomes very dangerous if you ride very fast. If possible get it changed... Its very distracting to know that your tyre is unsafe when you are riding... been there....

if you got more than 3 holes.. it's best to change a new tyre..

i had this problem too.. always tot there's only 2 holes causing it.. but after a soap water test, i discovered a lot of small holes..

i went to change a new set of tyres the next day..

Its yorur life on the line bro. Why risk it? Risking $100 - $200 for later hospital bill of more than thousands of dollars (If lucky).

Componensts that I think is very important on bike is tires, chain, brake, handling. Think about your loved ones.

Even if its few months old, I suggest u change to new tyre.. Its all about life and death.. Imagine 1 day u pillion some one and the tyre give way? If u really on budget, i suggest u go change to a 2nd hand one also much much better dan u leave a hole on ur tyre.. Just my 2cent worth of advise..
