unless its council or police i dont think you need to do anything, just ignore any letters they send and they will go away, i think thats right anyway but im sure someone will be able to tell for definate

if you are riding to work, makes no sense to save $30 a month becos it would be better to park in a sheltered and safe place which allows you to conveniently load and unload.

There's the multi-storey Market Street car park opposite City House. I think it's $1.20 per entry.

 

There's also some empty land beside the construction site just across the street from Lau Pa Sat where lots of bikes are parked.

Not really what? I used to park there at 9am everyday and there were always ample lots from the second floor onwards.

I just realised that Bestway Building (opposite MAS building) along Shenton Way/Prince Edward Road (from ECP towards Tuas) has not been included on this list? I have seen many bikes parking inside and they usually slip through the big gap at the barriers... so I presume it is FOC.

Anyone can verify?

Have been checking ard. GE building has free parking for bikes. Few lots, but there are bikes parking wherever there is space and dont block any cars. So it may be an ideal place.

 

Heard from regulars that sometimes, they get this A4 notice/warning for parking outside the lots, but no further action will be taken, so they ignore those letters anyway.

So far this seems to be the best season parking for motorcycles so far in the vicinity. The lots are spacious, and well lighted. All are next to the lifts.

but it will be quite stupid since there arent that many tenants in Capital Sq who ride, and they are missing out on opportunity for those bikers who wish to park there.
