Hello. Its been awhile since I posted a ride on this forum. My bike is back with me now and its time to have fun! So here goes.

 

Date: 24 October 2009 (Saturday)

Time: 6am

Meet: Esso@553 Upper Thomson Road

 

We will meet at the usual place. Since we need to setup the course with around 100 traffic cones, I will need your help to carry some cones each to make this work. I'll figure out a way to help you secure the cones when we are at the meet up place.

 

We will have a nice ride (no expressways) and head towards the Gymkhana site and setup the course and enjoy some circuit fun. You might want to consider removing your side boxes for this one as they can prove to be a handful in the circuit.

 

So sign up here!

sounds like real fun! i am in! how big are the cones? hopefully not those sizes that construction workers use... too big liao...if it's the size of those cones used by soccer/frisbee players, i think i can carry at least 20 in my rear top box.

SMS me your bike model if you have more than one bike or if i don't know your bike. we need to arrange for cone transportation :)

i cannot make it in the morning.

 

i join in the noon time.

 

going to clinic with my wife in the morning.

 

need helpers to lay and keep the cone during the session.

 

need sponsors for water.(1.5L water etc)

 

maybe we set some rules,knock down 1 cone 1 can of drink.???

PS

 

damage to cone,must pay.simon is very kind to provide the cone

(cost of cone is 2sgd/pcs)he spent $ and effort for this gymkhana for those who is interested.

 

practice/play @ own damage/risk

I have some personal committments in the morning.

What time does the Gymkhana thingy ends and where is the circuit?

See if I can manage some time adjustment to fit both events.

for everyone. i went to get more cones from daiso at plaza singapura. unfortunately they do not have any. so currently i only have the 54 cones. we may have to do 1-2 circuits at a time if we have insufficient cones. just fyi :)
