[DIY] How to cosmetically modify the Phantom?

guys!

just saw a bright striking blue TA200 on the road..

exhaust sound super power! load and very deep!

i saw like a funnel attached to the end of the pipe, not so big, it fitted just nice...but WTF is that thing?

its a stock pipe liao ok!

if that funnel thing can make the stock pipe sound like that, i confirm do sia!

you might be looking at a ta200c4 if you're comparing the rear-face of the pipe, rectangular & rounded.

no no...im riding a ta200c4... there is a funnel-like thing coming out of the ta200c4 exhaust..obviously somthing that he put to make it sound like that

maybe its the fishtail exhaust that looks like a funnel.

nope...its not a fishtail exhaust...it is gonna be very obvious and i shoud know if i saw 1....anyways, im looking for ta200 fork cover or " a thin sheet of metal to be place beside each fork"(dont know what is it call).... looks like a ear flap from the front...whe to get?

Making it as light as possible.

 

After riding cg for some time, i find it so hard being unable to lane split efficiently with a phantom lol!

chop fender? make the bike lighter?

IMO, removing the subframes would make the bike lighter already.

& to complete it, cut the rear frame, chop to fender tgt. that wld make it real light. imo.

Bro,first of all,u dont need to pay additional installation fees and my advice,try not to do at Ah Boy mechanics unless its the big,tough looking guy. He is good at his work and only him.

U may want to have the original receipt of the exhaust and the shop's document with regards to the exhaust.Call LTA and seek their advice of going thru inspection. U might be charge a high amount to have this check and endorse legal. Its a possible procedure. I did like that to my previous phantom.

LOL. since when is there sucha pipe that fits phantom & can pass inspection. double-exhaust somemore. lol.

 

the double-exhaust you're talking about are mainly from thailand premade / msia custom made & thy're hollow with nthg in it, making it super loud & make you loose power. definitely illegal. been there done that man, 700sgd fine.

AhchOng just go to the Clinic this sat, it's an easy fix, I did it before. DIY.
