Hmmm...was quoted $12k+++ at Bukit Merah....I am still considering. Last time he told me it's gonna be out in June and I had to pay in advance to get the bike first. But in June still no news so I decided to put it off till recently. So guys, for those of you who have bought your shiny GSRs, where is a good place to get this bike?

oh i didn't know abt power limits in japan but if that's true then its bad news cos the GSR is around 200kg vs super4 170kg and with the bigger (i.e. heavier) tyres, the power ro weight ratio will be poorer than the super4....

mah is abt $13.5k OTR. so if u can get $12k+ then its cheaper....of course when buying bikes, dun just look at the initial price. after sales is important too...

Aren't there any "creative" ways to boost the power output?

Comparing after sales service, I'm going to guess that for a very long time to come, Super4 will win hands down, because the sheer number of bikes on the road give it a superior advantage.

Ride 'em like you stole 'em...

dear bikers,

I like the design of the new Susie 400. It is neat and quite sporty. Yes, wld prefer over the S-4 , becos too many on the road. But I don't like the pricing, if it is selling above $14 k on the road.

Anyway guys FYI, machine price in Japan is roughly $10k+. SO here of course the machine price is up to the dealers to decide. From here, just figure out yourself how much they are earning after minus off import and tax.

Bro swoosh, are those windscreens available in Singapore? tink i like the middle one....

Anyway to all bros out there interested in the GSR (like moi), just to let u know, several shops have cautioned me that it will have poor resale value later on. Some of them told me i should buy S4 instead.....sigh....

Posted

Hope it will be available soon. The first 2 screens are the latest. HongKong is already selling the 3rd screen.

I like this bike becos it has EFI, lots of accessories from both sides of the world (Europe & Japan) and its sleek design. Nobody can predict the resale market, those shops who r telling you to buy S4 is becos they dun have it... Honda has a hold on the 400 cc market for a long time liao maybe for the next few years it will be Suzuki's turn.

anyway, i miss wildcard.
