U mean take out the air filter and put somewhere?

I mean, open the black air box just under the cowlings, then take off and throw (or keep it in a safe place) the paper/sponge air filter. after that, properly screw in the air box cover. so the result is, you still have the air box, but less the air filter. this is less dangerous and allow more air freely flow into the carburetor for better air/fuel mixture.

I think its not the vibration. what I can think of from this far is that the battery is low on power. because, when you use the electric starter to start your machine, all the power from the battery is drained to the electric starter. and hallt the other electrical functions. when you kick start, the battery has less power to curve. so the other electrical equipments have enough power to function properly..... Did I guess right ?

 

what you can do is sent your battery for a recharge. or replace with a new one.

 

 

 

 

i suspect the carb is dirty

may be from factory itself. sometimes u know lah thailand made - QC very bad.

i using ngk g-power now honestly ngk g-power lasts 4000km on yamaha sparkz

till now i changed 3 ngk g -power.

 

shall i send for cleaning carb. i contact my foreman,. he said don't siturb if it never disturb u

 

but then my mileage 1 liter is 40km only

while Hong leong claim 1 litre = 47km at 80km/h

you can clean the carb yourself. or better sent to the mechanic... your mechanic is right though, don't disturb the carb if there's no big problems. because setting carb is not easy. if your bike consumes more fuel on normal distances, try change the engine oil and clean the combustion chamber (top overhaul). seriously, it'll help a lot than adjusting stock carburetors

 

Currently, I'm using an NGK GPower plugs and I'm not satisfird with the performance after a few while. I still think the SplitFire plugs are far more better and last 3-4 times the NGK. soon after my NGK dies, I'll shift back to Splitfire.

well, I'm back from JB now at 1pm. Went there today for wash hair, saloon , shopping in giant , change DOT4 brake oil and brake shoe

DOT 4 - i used mine ...bought from spare part shop BOSCH DOT 4 = RM12 - 500ml

changed free

brake shoe - yamaha original hong leong, M'sia = RM12

 

then pump full tank petrol = RM6 caltex vortex ron 97

 

and washed bike = RM5 ...thorough wash with engine and inside givi box
