anyone can review BT-023 or Angel ST or Road 2?

going for a change of tyres soon. and the price are pretty close, make decisions very difficult. :dozed:

Just installed Angel ST on my bike. So far so good. Stable, and quite sticky in the rain. Hopefully tyres can last. Never had Road 2 or BT-023 before, so can't comment on them...

i jus took the leap and tried some korean rubbers. i bought Shinko 005 Advance from ah boy. 1st thing i notice is that its damn cheap @ $205 for 120/60 and 160/60. Its probably not as sticky as sports tyres but i feel they make excellent street commuting tyres. i tried in the rain and they hasn't made me drop my balls in fear.. pretty confident. i tink no other tyres can match that price range..

Any peeps had gone to Track with ANGEL ST? Cause i both tour 80% , track 20%. So was thinking if the tyre can take it with the angle leaned.

Metzeller M5 Interact their newest rubber... do a google on it.

I am using it for a couple of weeks now, I must say they have good grips on both dry and wet roads, in fact I feel they are better than my previous Power One which is quite bad in wet road.

Life is good.

but bro, those two tyres are different categories. the Power One are track tyres made road legal, while the M5 are road tyres built to be able to use on track. crucially different.

the Michelin equivalent to the M5 would be the Power Pure. i'm planning to change to those before year's end, and i hope it feels better than Pilot Power 2CT. anybody tried the Pure?

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

hehehe quite true. I initially wanted to go for Pure, but thought of giving M5 a try and it turn out not bad. :)

i've got the M5 today. gotta say the initial feeling is awesome. i could feel that there is some sort of cushion between the rubber and the road and not the solid hard feeling with my previous stock rubber. very smooth straight and the cornering feels good too as the wheel is a perfect circle, thats why it has the (pie) printed on threads, so the bike goes into the bend very naturally. it first took me by surprise that the bike is leaning in without me pushing it in like an automated response. will further run it in and see how it goes in the wet weather. stay tuned.
