    • Yes! Remove that ugly triangle! You're already experienced!

When i go bike shops, i talk like ah-pek. I act blur blur then if they wanna carrot me, before i leave the shop, i bombard them with the knowledge i know. From internet, books, experience, other mechanics etc. Then they will have the "Oh ****" face.

wah sure the mechanic dunno where to hide his face one. this way also can help you distinguish which shop is trying to carrot you and which shop is not.

I remember once at this shop, i dunno whether can i name here or not. Rather big shop with many bikes along Changi Road. Anyway, i was asking about 2nd hand RXZ. He ask me for my licence. I ask why need ah? He say need to calculate insurance. Nevermind, i gave him. He passed to his collegue, collegue calculate how much. Then i ask for my licence back. He was very reluctant to give. He was insistant that i get the RXZ from him. I told him i got no money buy what. Then he say nevermind. Just get gurantor. I say i got no gurantor. Buy what. Then i ask him become my guarantor ah. Then i sternly ask him for my licence back then he finally give back.

Then i ask him about CG125. Then talk talk, then i thanked him, left the shop.

Just so you know, he wanted to sell me the 15 year old RXZ at 4K otr. And the 7 year CG125 and 3.4K. Both havent yet renew COE. Lol.

Worse, got this shop beside that shop. Malay guy try to sell me 18 year old RXZ at 4.8K. Before i left the shop, i spoke to him in a mixture of broken malay and english, told him that he wanna take me for a fool ah. Might as well i buy new RXZ sia. I left the shop, vowed never to return every again.

You should have seen his face. :)

Hi guys!

I am coming to the end of my Probation Period and was wondering whether i should remove my P-Plate.

It would be logical for me to remove my P-Plate after my Probation Period.

On the other side of the fence, there are others prefer and have kept their P-Plates on their bikes long after their Probation Period is over.

What are your veiws on this? Vote now to share your stand and provide reasons why!

Thank you all!

keep them there until the wind blows them away or the sun degrades them and the constant torture they are put through from wind blasts, vibrations, etc breaks them.

or your neighbour steals them and puts them on his own bike

shouldnt take long...

i was too lazy to remove mine, soon after that they removed themselves

and i had to go buy another pair for my sis, basket!

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.
