y u wana upgrade..?

 

last year I almost trade-in my ST for a STX at an impulse movement, I changed my mind after I carefully think about how Im gona use, lucky me..... I saved up instead.!

 

my advise to u is.... know ur needs 1st.

 

Thks for the advice Simon...I'm not in a hurry to upgrade but I was merely entertaining the thought of switching to STX. I was thinking maybe a year or two later I trade in or sell of my beast for the newer STX. But besides being a "want", there is really no other justification for me to get one so I wun act on impulse.

 

My beast is currently serving me very well and I really enjoy the ride.

depending on your budget and needs. i fixed 1 non waterproof socket under my seat for connecting strobe light & electric pump. cost less than $5. but if you wanna fix those waterproof ones u can go check out those enduro bikes thread. a fellow st rider told me b4 that the socket shouldnt be used directly for electric pump though, some wiring and electrical issues. this u gotta check properly 1st.

if you dont mind a bit of mess, the most budget is to do it DIY...not too difficult a task.

 

IMO, i dont think it a good idea to look for a budget workshop and get the headache later, what you need to find is a reliable workshop with reasonable price for their workmanship and products.

Oil filtr can get to change with EO.Air filter, spark plug can change yyourself .Not that of a trouble if you know where to access.About $50 for a box of iridium plugs X4..About $15 for Honda OIl filter...Couldnt recall the last time i bought air filter as I am using K&N.Only need to "recharge" the filter. Get a workshop that you are comfortable with.Can check with other ST riders those popular shop that service ST and such as different rider will have difference preference.

Hi guys do you encounter this problem before, when main stand clutch in fully and engage 1st gear the rear wheel also move. bike shop say must repair cluth, must open up engine there.and he told me this is e reason causing difficulty in changing gear.

I am newbie too in ST11 recently I change my real tyre to BT021 at Power Wheel in Tampines. The tyre quite good just a personal point of view. The price quite reasonable, you may want to try them if you staying near that area.

i believe you are looking for the yellowish bulb right?

 

That is the Osram bulb from Germany. Been using it on my ST for 3 yrs already.. very lasting & durable & most importantly CHEAP....

 

Go get it from Gopa. all those ST on this bulb gets it from him i presume??

LAB got sell... cant remember $8 or $10 for a pair.

but better standby 2 normal bulbs when goin inspection cos the fellow might just fail u on a bad day.

Anyway, do not quote me, i brought my ST down to Sin Ming for annual inspection with my Osram & Hella horn, passed my inspect with no question asked..
